The beautiful Magic Blue paint changes its look based on the light hitting it, sometimes it looks black, blue, or purple! It also has the beautiful Atacama Interior, 6 speed (Spaceball) manual transmission, with the factory body kit! This car is such a beauty and a sleeper for sure!

Really love that atacama interior. Usually those wonky leather colours are no go, but Volvo really did themselves with that design.

What a great car and lovely sound. I own a S60 2008 myself, but it doesn't have this sound. Also the roads you are driving are marvelous. Perfect combination.

I have a 2008 S60 as well with a stock exhaust - the engine sound inside is very similar between 3000-6000 RPM. Of course we aren't getting the pops, bangs and whistles, but the engine note is very, very similar.

This is an everyday occurrence for me, except for the extreme hard pulls... 195K on an unmolested stock motor and a 6 speed(compression and boost still top notch)...I love my R!

I actually just got this one off amazon! The pin that holds the stock one in place and metal right above where the pin is actually broke off...😂 so I rented a tap and dye kit from Oreilly's and threaded the shifter and then got this shift knob off of amazon! I can't remember the brand but it is a weighted shift knob as well!

It came stock with the car! This car has the factory sport kit, so it comes with that lower rear valence, side skirts and front winglets (not on the car in the video)

Had a 2006 s60r! Cat 2.5 exhaust & cold air intake! Car ripped! Went to a wedding & every car got hailed out! Sitting in the church listening the golf balls hit the roof you just clenched your cheeks & understood the relationship was over!

Its actually an IPD lip that is just painted black!

@@jessefobare2549 Yeah! This one is the Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic lip that was painted black. It would look great color matched to the body!

@@jessefobare2549 Its actually a different steering wheel then what came with the S60R and V70R. This is a S60 "Sport" steering wheel!

I have been hearing that these engines are sensitive to heat soak which can reduce power. I see this video was posted in July. Did you detect any degradation of power? 😁

Yes they can! It's really hard to say with this car...because it has all the upgrades to help it breath better. (Intake, bigger and better flowing intercooler, catless downpipes, full exhaust) I'm also driving above 4,500 ft above sea level, with a tune....but I have had 3 of these cars and can say this one I never really felt the heat soak in this one like I did in the other 2. Which were completely stock. Hope this helps 😂

Yes it is! The video doesn't give it justice, but the highway pull on the merge was slower because it is actually quite a steep uphill climb!

how much hp approximative? also about how much money does it costs to make the stage 2 ready car?

I haven't had the car dyno'd but i'd guess around 320 at the wheels. it really depends price wise, the tune is a couple hundred, but to go stage 2 on these cars you need a bigger downpipe and full exhaust and an aftermarket intercooler. So I would say around $1k to $1200 to get an S60R to a stage 2!

What a noise, in advansed mode, when u take off your foot from accellerator? That is normal? 🤔

Normally the car doesn't do that, but the car has a tune on it where in advanced mode above 3k RPM and you let off the gas it backfires like that!

Don't know the exact numbers but similar cars have been dynoed with around 350-380 AWHP, probably around the same numbers for torque!

I really enjoyed my 2.4t while it worked but unfortunately the repair costs became way too high. It seemed like one thing after another would go bad. Shame!

Gotta love the peeling clear coat, the creaking/clunking front suspension, the cracked/disintegrating wiring harnesses, the paper thin leather interior, the finicky AWD system. And what......250-300 hp??? Really beautiful body style but a total disappointment/nightmare mechanically.....much like a European woman
