Here’s a quite rare catch of Montreal Fire Spare Victims Bus 1480(1473) responding with lights from fire station 73 in the Ville Saint-Laurent district of Montreal to a one alarm 10-07 high rise residential building fire on Kinglsey Road at the intersection of Baily Road and Trent Avenue in the Montreal-Ouest and Côte-Saint-Luc (stations 77/78) districts of Montreal. 1473 and 1005(command post) are usually requested for one alarm fires and in this case, they were both dispatched to the fire. 1473 does not respond with lights and sirens to calls, but I’d like to thank the operator for opening their lights while exiting the station! You’ll also hear the initial call from dispatch to Pumper 277 for the call and the progress of them arriving to them giving the one alarm.

I live at 7925 Kingsley road! Im the one that called 911 last night saying there is a lot of smoke on the 11th floor. The whole building and vicinity outside smelled like melted plastic and smoke everywhere. Not the first time this happens here 😅

My comment got deleted so I'll post again. I live in this building and the whole place smelled like melted plastic. My apartment still does. The fire started in the basement and I called 911 saying there is smoke on the 11th floor but everything happened really fast. As far as I know no one perished so there's that.

They just seem to Comadere STM-Transit if it's urgent, and only in winter. Those busses are likely gone soon?
