Robert Welsh, a makeup artist here on youtube, reached out and got a response from the rare beauty team that the packaging was not intended for those with disabilities/arthritis. The interesting rounded designs on their products are more for aesthetic purposes than health related ones. It’s likely someone commented on it and spread quickly as fact. Enjoyed watching your review 😊, I love the dewy blush and the setting spray the most from the collection!

I love Robert welsh too! But I didn’t notice that he said that he reached out to them. It’s kind of sad that everybody is saying that it’s for arthritis tho even tho that’s false

@@happyperson7663 I don't know why you would consider it sad?. It may not have been designed for disabilities in mind, but I can tell you it makes opening them a lot easier for us with arthritis or severe carpal tunnel

@@parisinthe30sx It's sad because it's false advertisement that the brand didn’t feel the need to come out and correct the misinformation, which was unethical on their part. No experiments or studies were run with the packaging with arthritis patients in mind. I'm really glad that this helps you out, but this doesn’t change the fact that this was just coincidence. I have seen online the reviews of many users who have similar health conditions and it didn’t help them at all. So, the reality is these patients are buying these products with the false expectation that the packaging will be useful to them, when it probably won't.

The good version of Korean makeup. lmao The only good Korean makeup are the lippies. Everything else lacks pigment and don't last long. Not to mention the lack of inclusiveness. Their face makeup is only for super super fair skin.

@@Dllld02842 I get it, but for me. I don't see the point if there is no pigment or coverage. Blurring effects aren't enough for me. lol I don't have perfect skin. Even if I just wanted a light tint, I'd rather get a drugstore foundation that matches me and mix it with moisterizer for less than $10 than get a Korean $30 bb cream that doesn't even match my skin. It's also possible to get the no makeup makeup look with American drugstore makeup. You don't need actual Asian makeup to create a no makeup makeup look.

The lip soufflés definitely remind me of Romand’s sheer matte lip tint. Sound like everything you were saying, and at a lower price! You should definitely try it out some day :)

Yes! I kept hearing that they were a super unique formula, but it's honestly so similar to most Korean lip suffles that give that pigment but can also look diffused/blotted. 3CE, Rommand, Peri Pera, Sunnie's Face lip dips, A'Pieu, there was so many K brands I could compare it too & interesting enough, they were made in Korea.

They remind me of any of the Korean matte lipsticks. I have a few Korean matte lipsticks, and tbsh best lipsticks ever. Nothing like American lipsticks.

I LOVE this new makeup mentality of, as Matilda puts it, "better with, not less without" & "having fun & using what you enjoy" - I wish this had been around sooner. Some things have come on leaps and bounds. I never used to wear makeup and now I use what makes me happy & go "oooooh 🥰" at my reflection in the mirror 😊

I just heard that Victoria Beckham launched new posh lipsticks. I did a little bit research for you that this collection contains 9 shades and the ingredients contain Rose wax, Rosehip, Coconut, and Avocado Oil, Candelilla, Carnauba, and Sunflower Wax. I will pray god you can find your favorite red easily and we hope we can get a review in future. Loads of love.x

i’ve seen a reply from rare beauty in response to the idea that the packaging is meant to be easier to open for people who suffer from arthritis and they said that they actually didn’t consider that when designing the packaging but they’re glad that it is helpful for people who suffer from those disabilities. i’m sure someone else has commented that already but i figured i would as well!

This is one of the best Rare Beauty reviews I’ve seen!! I love how perfectly you swatched each product and gave us an idea of a heavier vs light blend. I picked up the concealer in 230N and the liquid blushes in Joy and Bliss. Returned the lip balm in Praise because of the smell :( absolutely love the concealer, it’s my all-time favorite and has replaced all of my concealers. Been wearing the blush everyday also. Selena really nailed it with this line! Thanks for the video 💕💕

I bought the always out of stock gift mini set on Sephora and it was overwhelming how pigmented the small blushes were. Literally one dot is all you need. I love them because you can do a very one shade cohesive look with it on eyes, cheeks and lips

After seeing Mariah Leonard’s video I feel I bought everything in the line but the eyeliner and highlight. I actually think my favorites are the brushes she launched and definitely the blushes. The foundation is a bit more matte than an everyday but the concealers are also very creamy and lovely! I’d love for her to come out with bronzers and cream shadows!

I’ve always been hesitant to try celebrity make up lines (the only one I’ve loved is Victoria Beckham Beauty and some Fenty products) but the aesthetics of this caught my interest. Ironically prior to watching this video my Sephora order was delivered today and I had ordered her liquid eyeliner and the mini lip and cheek duo and I can’t wait to try them tomorrow morning as I get ready for work! Loved to see your review! I love liquid blushes so your stamp of approval is the last push I need to try them out. I currently have my eye on the mini set. Definitely super pigmented but at least I won't have to worry about it not showing up when gifting it to my friends with deeper skin.

i saw one of my fave creators, chessie domrongchai, recommend mixing the blush with your concealer shade to make it less pigmented! it’s great that they are so pigmented so they show up on all skin tones but that seems to make it more wearable for people with lighter skin tones! really excited to try out the whole brand when it comes to the uk

I hate foundations but Rare's is amazing. a barely there sensation, medium to light coverage but possibility of building up the coverage and a super nice mate glowy finish

The review we’ve all been waiting for! 🙌 We don’t have this line in the U.K. yet and I can’t wait to try the products. I’ve definitely got my eye on some of the liquid blushers and highlighters. I’m intrigued by the Lip Souffles as well as they look like they might be similar to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams and those are by far my favourite liquid lip formula. I think bronzers with the option of both a matte or dewy finish would be great to see from the brand 👍

Dear Matilda, You have no idea how much you make me happy with your videos. The only rare beauty review I really wanted 😋. I held out for holiday sets and so glad I did because the blushes are SO pigmented I haven’t a hope of even finishing the mini blushes. They are so pigmented i find it’s a bit fussy to get the right amount because I’m so fair and it looks like too much so easily. I don’t even pull the wand out of the tube, I just take the product that ends up on the stick part of the wand 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was never a huge Fan of Selena but her make up seems bomb😍 a German KZfaqr called Alycia Marie got her products in PR too and she said that they expand in the future🙏🏻 I am really interested in the Creme blushes and the liquid lipsticks

Thank you so much for mentioning the smell of the lipsticks/lip balms!!! It's super helpful for those who's sensitive to the fragrance of the lipsticks. It bothers me when it's too intense, it feels like I have perfume sprayed in my mouth :'D

While you were describing the eyeliner, I thought to recommend this brand to you: Club Clio. It's a Korean brand. Their liquid eyeliner are my go-to. Stays all day and night, and no amount of sweat can damage it. the brush tip is also really easy to use and soft. Hope you can it give it a try sometime 😘

I love watching your videos, so simplistic and to the point! One question that keeps bugging me; since you have a huuuge collection of makeup, how on earth are you ever going to finish all of them and do you keep on using makeup past the expiration dates ? And how do you store them and will you ever hit pause on buying makeup? And arrrgh everything is so pretttyyyy!

I think you'd enjoy the matte lip cream in Fearless. In the tube, it looks a little murky and too purple-grey for my tastes. But once applied, it's lighter and more rosy. Sort of a medium/deep rosewood, depending on how much you apply. I'm pale with fairly pigmented lips, and it's very natural on me while still being noticeable.

The cream blush turns to a powder and it looks absolutely divine!! Its my favorite and I have some VERY expensive stuff👍!!!

I believe it was a fan theory. I saw a screenshot of someone's email asking the company about this and they responded that they did not intend this but it was a happy happenstance that the design made things more accessible which makes sense since not all of the products have the little balls or the candy shaped tops

Creamy and liquid textures are my favorite (you can barely find dry/powdery textures in my make up organizer) and every new launch of this type of make up products is very exciting and interesting for me. I hope Rare Beauty will be presented at Russian Sephora.
