Rare blue bee rediscovered in Florida

4 жыл бұрынResearchers in Florida have rediscovered an “ultra-rare” metallic blue bee that hadn’t been spotted in years - so long that experts weren’t sure it still existed.
Florida Museum of Natural History researcher Chase Kimmel found a blue calamintha bee on March 9.

I live in California and my dad accidentally killed one not knowing it was endanger! I showed him a picture of the blue bee and he said that was what he stepped on! He is so upset at himself but he didn’t know! 😭😭
