Alert today my wife spent a roll of inviticus games 2018 $2 coins in the wollongong area. Naturally I'm devastated. great video by the way. I always forget the 1993 50 cent

My most recent noodle was $1 because I’m trying to get the 2016 decimal currency and then the 10cent one to complete my collection. Didn’t get but glad to have found the 2014 mob of Roos.

Only unc coins are being purchased. Cheap buy atm is 50c decimal 20c 5c.

Can confirm, the Mabo coin is quite common in Tasmania. I do have to say, they don’t wear very well, I have found a few good ones, but probably put about 10 back into circulation due to their poor condition.

Wisey. Interesting video. Prices versus mintages always are confusing mainly caused by distribution i think. Woolies coins are well distributed and worth almost face value for the same mintage as say a 75 th anniversary end of war which has a premium. Gach1 mintages are very low but prices are low and they are well distributed. The media is the other factor pushing prices.

Great vid mate , thanks for the info , i have collected coins since my first find in a school yard at 9 years old , a 1907 penny , but not an avid collector have just picked certain ones up over a lifetime , love the 2 dollar colors , and i have a lot of those , but since watching your vids am starting to look a lot harder these days . I may not see much benefit from them in my lifetime , but might be a nice hand me down for one of my kids . I have a 1928 penny with the bottom missing on the 8 , since buying the Rennicks coin book recently , it is in there , as one to watch for . my school headmaster was a coin collector and he told me back in 1965 that it valued at 2 shillings every year according to his coin book , would you be so kind as to tell me it's approx value , cheers .

Clean notes or coins? Either way yes you can clean if its just for spending but if they are coins you want to keep and have some value they are best not cleaned.

Hi just wondering what other people are finding the strike rate like on coloured coins in two dollar rolls? In SA I am seeing about one colour for every two rolls. Mostly however the same type of coins. Also has anyone encountered a restriction in the number of rolls you are able to get from bank machines? I could only get 250 yesterday not sure if it was simply out or whether they have imposed a limit? Could be just coincidence but I was bailed up by a bank employee recently asking me all sorts of questions about being a collector etc and asking me not to take so many roles. I normally get $1000 worth

I think your hit rate is about the same as mine. The machine may have been empty. Not sure they can restrict the number of rolls dispensed. Just log back in and try a second time.

Double rim is actually pretty common on $2 coins. No extra value unfortunately.

@@PJsCoinCapers I was lucky. I managed to get two Coloured Crux PNC’s in my basket and although I wanted a couple other things decided to pay for those first. It went through, got a confirmation email. Then the site crashed 🤣🤣

hello PJ i have come across a 1977 50c coil i see a couple on ebay from $50 up to $8k which im trying to work out the difference between and mine , the pictures look to same . could i have your email address to send you some pictures ,you will know . cheers Steve / geraldton
