February 28th is Rare Disease Day! At the end of the Vlog I briefly go over each of my rare diseases in order to spread more awareness. In addition to that, I also had a neurology follow up today and Judd got tazed (it's his last day of the LEO academy). Thank you for joining us on our adventure!

I've had a lot of the same issues but not always chronic. zenpep helped my gastroparesis. so glad you pegged the DNA. my chemical intolerances are due to damaged DNA. God bless you! Happy birthday and many more!

You are an amazing young woman, and I admire your strength and tenacity in the face of such adversity. I only suffer from one of the same rare diseases as you, gastroparesis, and that alone is enough to make me want to scream from the rooftops. While I know gastroparesis isn't at the top of your list of things causing the most problems, should you get to the point where they suggest the gastric pacer to you, I can go ahead and give you a heads up on that...it literally saved my life and the life of a friend of mine. I'm not sure how bad your gastroparesis is, as I just recently learned about you. Best wishes always, and if you ever have any questions about gastroparesis, I was diagnosed in '98, and while I don't know everything about it, I have learned quite a bit over the years, and could possibly give you a few helpful hits.

I really loved this video. Especially at the end when your describing each rare disease you have. Makes me want to look into EDS more. I've had issues all my life with my lower back, neck, sternum area and clavicle with it popping, grinding or other excruciating pain. I'm not saying I have it but it would be nice to look into and possibly have some reason why I struggled with this pain.

I'm a nursing student and we just got the same alcohol swabs that you have and I like them so much better. They tear way easier than our old ones and trying to tear swabs open with gloves on isn't always easy 😂

May I ask if your hyper mobile neck effects your migraines? I have POTS, chronic migraines, gastroparesis, and possible EDS. I find my neck is very sore and flexible. It's triggering a lot of headaches and migraines. Have you found anything to cope with it? Praying for you!

Really nice lunch, made me hungry. Glad your nuero appointment went well, and keep doing what you are doing, you are doing good, especially all you have to do. So glad Judd is wrapping up his time at the academy.Ted Talks has a lot of doctors and nutritionists that talk about the gut brain connection that you speak of, I would check it out because they give a lot of tips that was quite surprising. Do they give you extra vitamin C and organic bone broth for collagen or any other foods that help with that? Do you know if you were breastfed as a baby with all of these problems or formula? Thank you for all the information, I agree with you, many are underdiagnosed and/or misdiagnosed. There is also problems with doctors try to figure what is a symptom of something else or does it matter because we treat it the same>? Certainly a lot to consider. You have a great night too, bless you!

This is why so many things are messed up these days..and why nothing gets done..so the insurance company had a system error..they know they did..but you're the one that has to go through the appeal process and fight to get it going again and to pay the bills that it should have been paying if not for their issue ,but it is upon you to stay on top of it and fight it..so stupid .

Hey I have a quick question! How was the recovery period when you got your port surgery? Some people I've talked to say that it wasn't that bad but other people I've talked to say that it was really really painful.. I'm kinda nervous about the surgery so I just want to know what to expect 😅

everyone is different so for you it might be painful or it won't be all that bad

Kenze And Makki my mom had Port surgery when she had breast cancer because she had to get chemo every week and it was just easier for her since she could only get it in her right arm and those veins were hard to find and she was back to completely normal within a few days

When I had my port placed, I quickly found that I needed to stick pillows and folded blankets under the left side of my back so that I was propped up on my right side. This made it so I didn't have to struggle so much to push up to sitting using just my right side because my left arm, shoulder and upper chest was effectively useless. Luckily, I did request PT to help me with strengthening this area so it was quite limited in the time that I was affected by this and needing to prop myself onto my right side (which is my stronger side anyway).
