Peter is so genuine and honest. One of my drumming heros! And his singing was/is so powerful and so full of soul!

Wow! Peter singing those lines just made me shiver! Rare Earth was the very first concert that I ever saw. It was in NYC in 1974! Great experience.

This man is pure CLASS! He doesn't just talk the talk, Pete lives it. One of the greatest talents of our time. As a drummer as a lead vocalist. Pure performer with focus on performing for US. Music and any entertainment act would benefit by listening to this great artist.

You're watching PURE GOLD, in case you didn't know .... This dude could jam like no one you've EVER seen in your life! The feelings I get while listening to "Rare Earth" is unlike I've ever felt before :) I don't know how to describe the WONDERFUL feelings I had being lucky enough to grow up with this band... I JUST KNOW THEY ARE GOOD ONES :) I hope everyone else is enjoying this video as much as I am.

Role model for humanity. Words of wisdom. True professional. Of course it helps he's one of the lucky ones who knew what he wanted out of life at an early age and is living his dream. Right on.

Really nice interview,Bought Rare Earth album in the day.Always pretended I was him as who wouldn t want to play drums and sing lead in a band.He had a great voice and energy that made you smile.He was Rare Earth and he left a positive enduring sound for all of us.Glad he can look back and appreciate and reminisce the past.

I was never able to hear Rare Earth live but did get to see Pete with a group named the "Classic Rock All-Stars" in about 1997. "Get Ready" was one of my earliest album purchases.

Pete is a class act, I wish his age and health allowed him to still travel with Rare Earth, I think Gil is the only original member still with the band.

Peter is still playing in the Northwest....he has had some heart issues, but keeps on rocking. His son lives here in Fargo, ND and is a friend of mine. RE played at a local saloon back in the early 80's....Such a great musician.
