For those who are not from India, that accord in India costs $48000 USD and that too before the taxes. I think it’s a 2016 or 17 model here in Canada used one costs less or above 20k cad. Mostly used for Uber though 😢

Is that a lot of money? Turbos will just break. A reliable daily driver that will last over 200k will not have a turbo

@@dan9809 yes that was almost about $65k (5 years ago) when it was new cause of the ever changing dollar value. And yes again, the reliability of a naturally aspirated engine is much better compared to a turbo engine even when it comes to a reliable manufacturer like Honda. But people also wanna get what they pay for. The price of that accord here in India would’ve bought you a 5 series BMW. Probably why you see 1000’s of 5 series here on the road and rarely ever see this model of the accord on the road. Although it might not be as reliable as an accord, it will deliver the fun factor in spades compared to the Honda.

My point exactly .. you have an Austin Martin 220k . That v10 cost about 40k the interior prolly another 30k the rims prolly 10-15k give or take and the fiber glass and aluminum for the body about 45k… idk im ball parking basically im sayin the most expensive part of the at entire process is the name Austin Martin .. u payin at 160 just based on that .. the rest is just market shit 🤷🏿‍♂️just my opinion .. just depends on Much u credit score will allow you to get raped by the industry … Automakers dealerships the entire machine

@@KeepSycklids ,bro over here the base Honda Civic Costs around (INR 23 Lakhs) and that too 1.8L 2019, which is (USD 27,703), super expensive for a small sedan. Then we have all the Indian makes here which are shiit anyways. You won't find any Japanese SUV like the Toyota Prado, or Nissan Patrol in India unless someone has brought it from GULF.

This is a cheap car in North America. The 2.0T has a 10 speed automatic or a 6 speed manual transmission. They've discontinued this version in favor of the hybrid

@@austinward4937 I live in california too so yeah I know what you mean. But in the Indian market, it's just considered too expensive for the average car buyer. And also, average buyer nowadays wants an SUV, not a sedan. What Honda sells in India are the Honda City (which is a stripped-down Civic), and the new Honda Elevate (stripped-down CR-V). Which is why the Accord is so rare

@@austinward4937that's the thing, it's rare on India because due to the taxes and stuff the thing was waaay too expensive back in the day, and that affected its sales. For comparison the base 2016 Accord was more expensive than a 2016 Audi A4 in India. While here on the States a base 2016 Accord was around 22k and the 2016 A4 was 35k.

Fcuk yeah, I own this 2020 v6 EX-L beast. I barely floor it and hits 60mph i.e 100kmph like a breeze. Once I touched 135mph i.e 220Kmph briefly. It was dope.

Honda Accord 2008 and up start with alot of problems at 120k miles..I moved to Toyota that last longer Hondas only look nice but poor quality also dealer repairs are SUPER EXPENSIVE..sample $4,000 plus tax to replace a leaking rocket pinion thtat''s crazy.Honda Accord is desined to use OEM parts only but if you use after market parts you start having more problems like for example if you use after marget starter your car goes to limbo same with motor mount your care shakes like a blender...

Brother. Some cars are region/country specific, their rarity isn’t anything but the numbers of cars sold in a country! Simply put less accords were sold in India than in NYC just for an example a Suzuki swift will be rare as fuck in NYC because you have to import it! but here it’s a cheap taxi
