Masha Allah, When I was In teenage use to listen his recitation on cassette tape , first time saw him his real Holy Quran recitation, Masha Allah tabarakallah, lahawala walakuwata illahabillah.

May Allah rest him in peace and lighten his grave as he lightens up the spirits of his Muslim listeners when he recites the quraan. You feel very peaceful inside. Allah said to us read the quraan in beatiful voices, and understand it an follow my ways of Islam.

Here are what various figures have said about Minshawi's (Rahimahulla) recitation of the Noble Qur'an: - Sheikh 'Abd'l-'Aziz B. Baz (rahimahullah) said, "If you want to listen to the Qur'an like it was revealed then listen carefully to al-Minshawi. It is a voice that one will never get bored from, like a flowing spring of pure water that continuously quenches the thirsty one." - Sheikh al-Albani's (rahimahullah) favourite reciter was well known to be Shaykh al-Minshawi. And when he would put a tape on he would always stop doing everything else and listen intently. His students narrate they would sometimes enter upon his room and find him crying to Minshawi's recitation. - Sheikh Dr Ayman Rushdi Suwayd said about al-Minshawi, "He used to recite the Qur'an as if he were reciting in Jannah!" - Sheikh Ahmed al-'Ajmi when asked who was the best reciter in tajweed, excellence and memorisation, replied, "Shaykh al-Minshawi and then al-Husary may Allah have mercy upon both of them." - Sheikh al-Qardhawi said, "His was a voice that truly affected me." - Sheikh Abu Ishaq al-Huwayni said, "No-one has ever recited the Qur'an like al-Shaykh Muhammad Siddiq al-Minshawi rahimahullah in the sweetness of its execution and perfection of the principles of recitation." Allah have mercy on his soul and grant him and us the highest Jannah.

My son sulayman at the age of about 8 introduced me to Shk Minshawi Allhumdullilah
