The pullout was a special option , the cup holders are in the glove box

Mine 97 had the Zeno morph alien head center consul. I replaced it with the older rectangular one with a lock.

My 92 1500 didn't have the dash mounted pull out. So I bought 1 from a wrecker from a Tahoe. Same blue colour. Wasn't cheap.

Got mine today haven’t had one since 2005 we got a GMC SL3500 with dump stake bed 350 n a 4 speed

My 94 suburban with the same center console has a little compartment under those cup holders. Best part👌

Just bought a 93 K1500 yesterday (xmas gift) to myself.. it has pull out cup holders and its a 350cid and a 5 spd.. very cool truck

To my knowledge, the cup holder location/option was as varied as the factory customization of each truck. It was a lot easier to custom order a pickup in the 1990s. Thank You for the video and keep supplying good information. Have A Good Day! 🛻🚤🏖️

My dads 98 has the red heartbeat of America seats with the wooden topped folding center console. I want the seat so badly for my 78 Big 10 lol

My 1990 454 ss had the center consule and under the removable cup holders. In that space was a big brown bag filled with all the paperwork since purchased..every maintenance, oil change, etc.

My 94 k1500 Sierra 4 speed has a bench seat with cup holders on the dash

My 98 has the 60-40 with a center console that folds down . My 92 has the same kinda style seat but no center console. And has the cup holders .

I had that same center console in my ‘91 k1500 z71. It also had the gauge cluster with the tachometer.

I have a c1500 extended cab with the center console from 1994

My 96 k1500 has the dashboard cupholders under the vent but it also has the center console with split front seats w/ armrests. My 98 c1500 has the same cup holders but no center console cuz its got a bench seat. The basic one without an armrest.

My 94 k1500 has the center console cup holders too

The back truck has a bench seat because it’s a work truck “ Cheyenne” and the blue truck is a Silverado trim and you could option the 40/20/40 seat with console

my 93 c has bucket seats center fold down console with cup holders, folded up it becomes a bench with pull out cup holders from the center dash. so mine is both yours combined, step side, power everything with tape deck.

The pull out cup holder is an optional accessory, the console is on some extended cabs and/or 454SS with bucket seats

Extended cab trucks only have the console with the cup holders. If it was a regular tudor it would have had the cup holders like the other truck

It's not rare in extended cabs. Like 80% of them had bucket seats and a console. What might be more rare is an extended cab with a 60/40 bench seat. I've seen a few.

I have a 94 C1500 and it came with the center console as your K1500

So my truck actually came stock with both now I will say this from my knowledge of owning a few of Thea’s and being that their a really popular truck in my area, I actually see more of the center console package but no cup holders on them unless u swamped it with a Tahoe or suburban one, they came with ones that opened up to the rear. Otherwise ya just bench seats

I got the center console with the cup holders in mine.

We got both on the farm from 1500-3500s I guess if you poke around farms you’ll find some more too

My 90 k2500 has the center console and a pull out one in the back of the center console for rear passengers

I’ve had 2 K 1500 90 and 94 In the 93 at the pull out in the 94 at the center console

I have a 94 gmc suburban. I have the console with the cup holder and the pull out cup holder as well. Don't see many with one or both very often.

my 98 c1500 Silverado trim has a cup holder that comes out of the dash as well as one in a console that folds down, I haven't seen nicer Obs trim honestly power everything all original

my truck is a 98 K1500 it has 2 that come out of the dash to the right of the radio not the same style as your flip outs though i have the 40/20/40 split bench and i love my bench seat

My 91 gmc has that center console w/ cup holders, but i was told it got changed from a bench seat b4 she was mine

Fun fact the cup holders on the center console come out (not sure if intentional) and you have a lil secret compartment under them

I have a 90 K1500 and the cup holders are in the dash. I believe that the difference is when you got the head rest bench seat you also got your cup holders in the seat.

I’ve seen many of both over the years but I’ve seen More bench seat trucks with no cup holders at all vs with the pull out ones

The dash cup holders are standard for single cab trucks as the bench is a one piece my step dads 93 had the same cup holders was a step side (ss model)

i got cup holders out of a 94,bolted right in my 90

Both were an option the cupholders didn't become standard until 1995 when they updated the interior, the buckets and console were more common on the suvs than on the trucks

My grandpa's 91 GMC 1500 was a dealer demonstrator and had all options. Cup holders were not one of them LOL there was a bench seat with a small fold-out armrests and two little circle cutouts in the glove box lid where I guess you could set a drink temporarily

My fathers 94 2500 ex cab had the console. My 92 Reg cab 1500 step side had no cup holders at all.

I think that was a dealer choice, my 91 didn't have them, but the dash I pulled from a 90 did. Everything looked original like it was garaged most of its life.

I have a 93 Chevy Suburban two-wheel drive and it has the center console with the cup holders but be careful I accidentally lost mine because you can move them they're actually pretty expensive and pretty hard to find online

And 5 lug pattern..... ran into that with a wt1500 differ rotor and spindle size

My 93 s10 blazer (manual) has no cup holders, gotta either put the drinks in a shoe or cup carrier and hope for the best around the turns😂

In K1500 if you have a bench seat you don't get cup holders so the C1500 is better if want a bench seat

My 94 C1500 came with the center console and similar interior options to your K1500 just a different color scheme. I think it was moreso dependent on what the truck trim was, and if it had the extended cab. Mine is a 1994 C1500 (Silverado extended cab)

Trim options have play into that or it was ordered that way.

The Silverado’s are the only ones I got the center consul. The Cheyennes did not Silverado is a higher model before they started putting Silverado badge on everything.

Mine has a pullout 2 in 1 cupholder really weird design and it really doesnt hold anything in it at all everything always falls out and its directly in front of the vent

The 1996’s cup holders are dog water I have one and It won’t hold drinks that are bigger than a soda can. I still love the truck tho it’s my favorite in my opinion

Its just beacuse its an ext cab so it has captains chairs and a center console

Because there’s more room in an extended cab for a center console. 99% of single cabs had a bench seat with cup holders in the dash
