RARE Porsche 996 C4s Cabriolet - Ceramic Coating, Paint Correction & Dry Ice Cleaning

A rare Porsche 996 Carrera 4s Cabriolet color made its way to the shop for dry ice cleaning, paint correction, ceramic coating, and a handful of new oem parts. We started by dry ice blasting Porsche 996 cabriolet trim before we gave it a car wash and detailing.
We used Mayvinci Oracle ceramic coating to seal up the work and finished by applying some brand new Porsche center caps and rear 996 C4s badge.

A mint 996 4S cab 🤘even if porsche purists don t like the 996 this one is for me an exception awesome condition and know looks like new 🇩🇪👍🏻🇺🇸

Every Porsche looks good. I suppose, it doesn't even matter which model it is: the most expensive 911 Carrera GT, or basic Boxster. Probably, the sexiest cars. One day, I'm gonna buy one Such a shame to use chinese windshield...

that gas cap is genuine porsche, but not oem. its $190 upgrade

Nobody answered your Q so I will...the color is glacier white, a non- metallic color offered for an upcharge in 2000 at the dealership...it's a crisp white with blue undertones....I know cuz my 2000 C2 is this color and YES I love my car Cheers and all day BS 916996

hi guys, i'm not sure where the question was previously raised, but the color of this specific car is Carrara White. i am the owner of this car and the team did a great job on it. i plan on making a few tasteful mods, but nothing too crazy. the car has less than 60k miles and is a blast to drive. the C4S came from the factory with either a black, blue, or grey so the red top was special ordered. kinda cool.

This is just a general question. I've seen that you've been using microfiber cutting pads for most of your detailing videos. Even on what seems to be one stage paint or thin paint according to the videos. I know you use a paint gauge for your detailing jobs, but here's my question. Is it safe to use microfiber cutting pads on most jobs? Would you use a microfiber cutting pad on any car if you didn't have a paint gauge? Hope that makes sense. Still loving your videos. Keep it up!!

Jakube, jen rychlá otázka. Nebylo by lepší, aby ten chlapec stříkal čistič kůže do štětce nebo do kartáče a ne na kůži přímo?

To zalezi kde a co cisti a s cim uz je hotovej nebo co jeste zbejva… pokud uz je vsechno hotove tak urcite lepsi jen na kartacek, pokud zacal a je to velka plocha tak je rychlejsi a lepsi primo na to, ale ja sam jsem zvyklej spis na kartacek nez primo na kuzi.

Is paint correction just a fancy way of saying polish?

Yes basically at our industry people using term “paint correction” for removing light defects of the paint such as swirl marks, sanding marks, light scratches, etc. Polishing is more like a final step of paint correction when you before “cut” the paint and you need remove those super small tiny cut marks and hazing.
