The black line on the faux screen of the black unit looks like a sharpie to me. My first thought was that there was a sales sticker or something placed there in the store and some customer thought it would be cute to trace it with a marker. This might not be the case at all, but my experience in retail taught me that customers love to mess with displays. 🤷♂️

If only it had a screen like the micro, then it would be an absolutely incredible 10/10 device. I know the 101 has a much better screen, but still not as good as the micro. Still an amazing little thing.

Wow that is some length they went to for a promotional model, pretty awesome stuff, the fact that all the solder points are still present is quite interesting, i'm surprised it's not a dummy pcb set up just to have the buttons in the correct location but the rest bare. As well, maybe it's just the angle but it looks as though there is some discoloration on the mounting points for the card reader almost as if they originally had one installed to hold the dummy game in place before going with the option to screw it in. Great video.

I look forward to the day you find a way to open the screen without damaging the rubber plugs. Maybe try something small and flat. I've used the non-sharp side of a needle with varying success.

Old Nokia Mobile Phones Dummys are perfect too make a new looking Phone. Connectors, Microfon and the Shell are original Parts I've made a new 7110i from there. In the early 2000s there are very cheap to buy. In my Collection of Mobile Phones i have many 8110 and 7110, 3210, 6110, 6210 and they all looked like fresh from the Box. Greets from Germany.

Great video mate, I think you need to clear up the international shipping drama. Loads of people ask on your community page. Inland shipping is to the warehouse but what about when the buyer has to then select which international courier and import tax to pay? Just for complete transparency as alot of your followers are asking these questions.

It actually looks to me like it might have been populated and everything that wasn't needed was removed. All the solder on the board is kind of a red flag. They could have come pre-tinned from the factory that makes the boards but I don't know why they would do that.
