All the EMS unis in the next town over from me use dual tone EQ2Bs', whelen dual tone and powercall sirens. Yes. 3 siren boxes playing 5 different siren tones. It sounds wild!

That wasn’t the rumbler, that was them using the eQ2B horn. Love the Hall Ambulance fleet! By the far the best around, good vid bro.

Ive heard this before. Never knew name of the siren. Couple years ago during a parade all the emergency vehicles in it honk and use their sirens on and off. Parade ended at a local school where the festival is held. A emergency call was placed at the school for someone passing out. The ambulance used those sirens exactly like that so that people knew that it needed through and wasnt still participating.

Yeah, what they usually do is use it during an uncommon or critical response such as this, I believe this was a stroke or heart attack I don’t exactly remember. Thank you!

It's not just one siren. Actually some hall ambulances have 2 electric sirens and this one had the Q2B along with the 2 electric.

nice catch !!!!!! Also quick tip. when a unit is responding you should sit at the Main Street intersection because usually that when they amp up siren, rumbler, horn, and Q lol.

I saw a BJC(Barnes Jewish, Christian) Hospital ambulance transporting Code, no airhorns sadly. But great vid, love all the sirens. Whelen Dual Wail is my favorite!

Ive heard eq2b sirens on ambulances before all over the place. It's not rare. I know this is an older video but even back then i heard eq2b on ambulances, fire apparatus and even battalion chiefs cars.

We have specified nothing but the EQ2B electronic siren on our fire apparatus. Uses far less electrical power and produces the same decibels of sound.

Actually it’s a rare siren for the company, ambulance, place, and time of day they usually amp it up in the morning around 7:00 or 8:00 AM.

Not that rare. Typical mechanical siren and electronic siren. More typical on fire trucks and apparatus.
