This rare Spider-Man 2 featurette has just recently resurfaced in high quality and in English. It was originally broadcasted on television, most likely MTV, to hype up the release of 'Spider-Man 2'. J. Jonah Jameson and Hoffman (played by J.K. Simmons and Ted Raimi respectively) reprise their roles for this featurette.

I love how Jameson is so proud of his son being an astronaut that he brags about it on TV and I appreciate the libel/slander reference from the first movie.

All jokes aside, this feels like a less polished version (or more accurately, more marketing heavy version) of the “Gotham Tonight” segments from “The Dark Knight” (2008). An in-universe news report exploring the world of the movie. Interesting coincidence that this happened for two sequels to superhero films that are described as being the best in genre. Very cool find! Keep up the great work!

Love that every time he mentions his son in this, he refers to him with the full title of "My son, the astronaut". Its such a goofy line in the actual movie, that I'm convinced the people that made this promo had to watch beforehand, recognized it as such, and thus decided to put it here to fully cement it as a gag.
