9/10/2023 - Numerous ethnic stores sell various tropical fruits in Manhattan’s Chinatown. Surprisingly, the prices were way less than those found in California.

You can definitely grow Jabos in the Central Valley - get cuttings or grafted but Red Hybrid fruits in 4y ✔️

I totally agree. My jaboticaba of unknown variety is going 6 years in the ground but hasn’t fruited yet. They like to take their time maturing. My Red Scarlet on the other hand, is growing nicely and should be fruiting in the coming years.

@@TropicalCentralValley my Grimal or large leaf began fruiting @ 6y - Sabara or small leaf now in 10th year now showing signs of shedding and bumps where flowers form but Scarlet very slow - Costada is a good grower like the the Red Bybrid i did some shorts on my channel last summer.

In the very beginning, I was giving them away, however, USPS did not like the idea as many of my shipped packages were being delivered opens and tempered with. I now show folks how to grow them with ease.

When talking about the Jabuticaba, what's the second cherry you mentioned ?? Surinam cherry and ??

The taste is similar to that of the Surinam and Capulin cherries.

Thank you. No, not drone footage. They were timelapse taken from the observation decks from atop the One World Trade Center and Empire State Building. Some of the buildings in NYC are taller than my drone’s maximum altitude.

The place didn’t have an address; talking about a hole in wall. The next door shop is 141 Mott St. If in the vicinity, you can’t miss the fresh fruit stalls.

1776 USA started the process of independence from Britain . And yes . Never ever drive in NY city lol . Subway is always the way to go plus you see many different personalities on the trains .
