I found now after setting then tap the profile pic then you can see the active status

just wanna ask something.. doest it mean that a person is messaging another person if there is typing indicator in your messenger chat with this person but previous messages to this person is unseen?

on a phone it says when you turn off active display you cant see other users online. that's true. but on a pc you can lol love it everything is grey out but the names stay there and pop up and pop out when they go online and off offline lol

You need to turn off the website face book as well, if you have any active status on anywhere you are logged in then you can still be seen. I have both app messenger and website messenger off on iPad and iPhone. I have the app Facebook on iPad and iPhone turned off. But I cannot find how to turn off the active status on website Facebook.
