Rare will always be my favorite too: Donkey Kong Country series, Goldeneye, Conker, Jet Force Gemini, Blast Corp, Perfect Dark, Diddy Kong Racing, Banjo-Kazooie, Killer Instinct, and many more. All 10s. ❤️

Yooka-Laylee will be better than any Banjo Game will be nowadays. I mean look at that new Conker design. If they do make a new game it will probably get a lot of hate and it'll probably not be that great. I lost faith in them making a good Banjo Kazooie game so yeah.

Yeah it would be cool and I'm SUPER EXCITED for Yooka-Laylee but Banjo Kazooie wouldn't be that great unless they got some the original people or let Nintendo make it. Like you said, Playtonic is the New Rare

8:30 Still a Mystery of who voiced Tootie. Only Staff we know that voiced characters in Banjo Kazooie so far were Grant Kirkhope, Chris Sutherland, Chris Seavor and Lee Ray. Much more in Banjo Tooie.

Wasn't Eveline Fischer the person who voiced Tooty tho? Since she voiced most of the main female characters besides Gruntilda and her sisters, she voiced Brentilda, Honey B and Humba Wumba, pretty sure she also voiced Tooty

Thank you guys SO much for everything. Not just for the brilliant adventures we all had during our childhoods, but for TRULY caring about us, the fans. Not only that, but for this video. You didn't have to do this, and not only did us fans cherish it, I'm pretty sure you all had a blast drudging up old memories. I'm happy you all are still the same crazy guys who truly care about their children of N64 games. It gives me hope for the world.

I still play through Banjo-Kazooie 100% once every other year or so because it's that good and it's music is excellent.

Now that I know in the first game, when Grunty casts the last spell and transforms Banjo into a frog, I want a remake with that in it! Not that you have to replay all the levels, but at least go back with Tooty and in every level fight a new boss and then each boss gives a special Mumbo token. If not bosses then at least a special mission. Like Grunty's spell also affects every world in some way and you have to fix it with Tooty and you'll be rewarded with the token.

I still own the two games I bought back in 1999 on the Nintendo 64 in their lovely boxes, Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie. What true gaming gems. Anyone else play over 500 hours in each game? I sure have, maybe even more.

Grant Kirkhope is my hero, all of the people who made Banjo Kazooie are my heroes! They're brilliant! It's amazing, we could spend 20 minutes and get banjo's samples to sing a full song, and maybe an hour or two more to tune it better, but at the time that was just being created.

Rare was way ahead of it's time with banjo kazooie trying to create an end game mode with Tootie saving Banjo. A lot of RPG's are trying to recreate playable of this kind with just expanding your final character into a brand new world, but here the plot would change too. DLC content maybe? A LOT OF MISSED OPPORTUNITIES MISSED HERE.

I seriously am glad they're back on Switch Online, and I hope Banjo Tooie ends up making back to Nintendo too. You know what, had they indeed ported Rare Replay on Wii U instead of disconfirming it, its Xbox games wouldn't have been on it due to licensing issues with Microsoft. Plus, there is not going to be any DLC for Rare Replay at all. I'm actually very happy that Rare is a part of Microsoft, believe it or not.

I do know that. Yooka-Laylee looks really great. And, yes, if there ever is another Banjo game in the series (not counting Yooka-Laylee), it will most likely be called Banjo-Fourie. At least, that's what I would call it.

Hmmm, I think I remember the ooh me knackers story from game grumps! But there's something I have to know that I never really got answered; the knocker doors in Banjo Kazooie. Can they be opened, did anyone open them, how did they open them, and what if anything was behind them? I’ll never forget first getting in to Rusty Bucket Bay. It was the only level that N64 Magazine hadn’t documented thoroughly in their coverage and so was a complete surprise deep into the game, like a whole huge bonus level. Loved it.

These videos are amazing. Even though we don't have a new Banjo game, I sincerely appreciate you guys taking the time and effort to put these together. It's incredible that I'm still learning new things about this series! The video footage also confirms that the Rare archives have everything I imagined they did when I was a kid XD

Christian Green if the titles that Nintendo in Germany goofed up on and released placeholders on amazon are real then yes we should be receiving ports. I hope we get full remasters but we can just wait and see.

Rareware cared so much about the N64 that they rewrote it's language. (or maybe making 🍹out of 🍋&🍌 too) Rareware. Wrote. Their own. Compilers. On a farm in Twycross. Truly amazing, still enjoy your work 25 years later, cheers from Oregon!

+5327indarkness Playtonic is a bunch of people that used to work for Rare that are now making a game like banjo-kazooie called yooka-laylee.

Playtonic games is a new studio owned by the original Rare staff. So Banjo Kazooie and Conker would be better off with them. They are currently making a spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie called Yooka Laylee scheduled for relese in October.

Wow, I thought I knew everything. I was clearly wrong. Entertaining video, god bless my childhood. I'm 30 right now and thinking: I'd totally sit down and play this game all over and over again. (Or a successor even)
