Exactly! Supafly kicked off for the dope game. The Mack kicked off for the hoe game. Believe or not but those movies were goverment funded and one was directed by an FBI agent. They basically gave us this culture. We didn't create it. Just hearing him talk about how New Jack City inspired him reassures that we were duped.

Tappin in from "The Town" (East Oakland to be exact), first off I wanna say great interview. This dude has some very deep testimonies. Not to glorify jail, but from 3:09-3:13.....when he spoke about the "red band "......it reminded me of when I first heard Juvy's "welcome to the nolia"...juvy said..."Tie ma soulja rag tight around ma head man...now I'm gettin processed witta red band". I kept tellin ma pat-nas that he was talkin bout jail but they thought I was trippin. But this here video confirmed it. Anyway...thanks for another very informative and inspirational video. I send my peace and respect to both you brothas in full stride. 1-Love.

He explained the east in old new Orleans perfectly. We didnt slang iron like that at all back then. You would literally setup your fight with your opp via telephone or word of mouth. Guns were always there , but it wasnt the first reaction to shoot. Now the rest of the n.o that's a different story 🤣
