Ras ital- • 🇻🇨Vincy Rasta Ital🇻🇨 (... Recipe
2 green bananas grated
cilantro
parsley
onion
garlic
chive
bell peppers
scotch bonnet pepper
tumeric
black pepper
cumin
water (put enough to get a thick batter)
4 tablespoons of all purpose flour
1 tablespoon cornmeal
*You can deep fry or swallow fry.
*This is Ras Dicki's version and he does consume salt but feel free to add salt and your favorite seasonings.

Make sure you put salt in it. Taste delicious with salt.

Looks awesomely yummy. Think I will try them with both white flour and green Hog banana flour which I recently made. Not sure what name the Hog Banana is called in other countries here in The Bahamas we call it Hog, one other name it's called Burro banana. This recipe has endless renditions, might throw a can of sardines into it and lots of pepper for sure!

Are they sweet? I have some unripe bananas that are not quite as green as yours. They are about maybe halfway ripe. Will those work or do they have to be completely green?

They are not sweet and the bananas have to be completely green. If you want, you can make banana fritters with those you have.

Is this a St. Vincent ting or a made up recipe? This looked good but I wont add cumin. Cumin isn't something West Indians liberally throw into everything and the Tumeric too. But I will add the tumeric because its for you.
