I was so much like her when I lost my cousin to an accidental overdose last year. When it first happened, I was just stunned. Then when a few days passed, I became so angry and would scream my head off. I finally broke down in my boyfriend's arms at his place and then seeing her laid out at her wake. The last thing my cousin and I spoke about was seeing each other once the stay at home order dropped. The day of her wake was when it got dropped and then I just broke down, telling her I was sorry I didn't see her sooner. I almost collapsed. A couple of weeks later, I just couldn't stop crying all night for her and my mom had to calm me down. My cousin's death was the worst thing to ever happen to my family. She was only 36 and she was my first best friend, my hero, my role model. March 30th is going to be very hard for me because that's her birthday and June 3rd was her last day on earth. I miss and love you so much, Erin McMahon. Until we meet again... 💔💔😢😢

I know I didn't know her but I think she'd want you to try to remember all the good times you guys had together and those memories that you have are apart of you so she's still with you in your memories and your heart. So to recap it's completely ok to grieve but while doing so don't forget all good times you guys had because between all the good times you had and the lessons she taught you they will always be with you through thick and thin just like she was. Me and her never gotten alone once we were teens, always ignored each other. A week after seeing her she died in an accident and it broke my heart so much. The last time seeing her was the final time we got along and I wish that we could of talked like we use to as family. To this day it hurts.

As a dad with a daughter I can tell you that we love you girls through it

I mean props to him, even if we can't tell if he acknowledges being at fault for indirectly causing her daughter's boyfriend's death, he took the beating. I know way too many parents woulda been like "oh you brought this on yourself" or "I did nothing wrong" but the fact that the dad in the video didn't say or do anything like that, at least he respected that she was grieving and needed to let it out. idk if you could hear but when she was demanding he say he hate him and he hugs her, you can kind of hear the dad say something tearfully (maybe 'sorry'?) And it's hinted in the music video that she and her dad aren't close, when the boyfriend asks "what's wrong? is it your dad?" meaning they have a rocky relationship for the boyfriend to guess that. imagine having a not-so-close relationship with your kid then you go and [accidentally] kill their lover, I mean the guilt, and the dread at the possibility that the relationship will never be mended? He better help her take care of that child now... (I mean yes it's not ideal for her to have a child while still in school but had the dad not killed the boyfriend, he would be taking care of the baby)
