In this video of Tarikh, Nikhil discusses the story of Ras Bihari Bose, who waa a prominent freedom fighter who left India in 1915. Ras Bihari Bose was born to a middle class bengali family. He was the mastermind of the plan of murder of Lord Hardinge, this is called Delhi-conspiracy case. British government could never capture him. He also planned the gadr action in 1915 but it failed. Many revolutionaries and indian soldiers are jailed, but anyhow Rasbihari managed to escape. After reaching Japan, Rasbihari took the citizenship of Japan and started toiling hard for India's freedom from the brtishers. What are the remarkable stories of him?

What a great research. Sahid Basant Biswas is from my native place, Poragacha, Krishnanagar, West Bengal. In minor age he was hanged by British as because his own relative betrayed him when he came for his mother's funeral. Unfortunately he as well as Rasbihari Bose didn't get their due respect or fame. This unsung hero of India was also a great cook... People can still find " Bose Curry " in restaurant of Tokyo which was prepared by Shri Rashbihari Bose.. & this dish was very cheap and famous in Japan at that time....

At 03:01 it was Jatindranath Mukherjee or Bagha Jatin of Battle of Buribalam. The first picture (02:31) was of Jatindranath too. The main protagonist of a well known Bengali novel, 'Sabyasachi' was imagined on the life of Rash Behari Basu. Written by one of the most popular bengali novelist Sharatchandra Chattopadhyay. 'Pather Dabi' (The Right of Way or Demands of the Road/ 'Path ke Davedar' in Hindi) was banned on its second edition (1927) by the British government and the writer was slapped with sedition charges ! 😂😂 Sabyasachi, means 'a person who can use both of his hands, consecutively at the same time' like our Epic Pandav hero Arjun. And in the novel Sabyasachi does more like that in many instances. Interestingly, Rash Behari Basu founded the Japanese branch of the Hindu Mahasabha in 1938 inspired by Vinayak Damodar Savarkar who was the president of Hindu Mahasabha in India. And what's more ?😋 Vinayak Damodar Savarkar was the key link between Subhash Chandra Bose and Rash Behari Bose. Thank God! They were not narrow electoral interests seeking politicians, like we see today 😍😍

There is a book written by some authoress Uma Mukherjee. Her book is titled as ❝Two Revolutionaries: Baaghaa Jatin and Raashbehari Bose❞. She wrote this book in the 1960s.

I am from birthplace of Rashbehari Bose. You provide some wrong information. Rashbehari start his education from" subaldaha gramin pathsala".Rashbehari stay at subaldaha when he was 14 years old.

What is greatness about them?? He died in Japan, Bose died in plane crash, several more died on gallows, did they able to create a grear dynasty like our great Congress?? Remember one thing, congress only fought and achieved this independence. In exact words Nehru only brought this independence. If not we would have read about these guys in our texts minimum.

I think agar india ki jgh koi or country hoti to un sbko jail hoti jo angrez ke saath the....chahe armed forces , government officers , politicians of Indian origin who killed fellow Indians should have been all punished after independence. But in india , scene hi alag h....even today you can talk shit about india and it's culture...all in the name of freedom of speech.
