This is the best thing that can happen to Rashford. He gave Sougthgate no choice. It's too obvious. How can you be the highest-paid player in a team, choose to be horrible for a whole season and expect to be part of that. I love Rashford to a tilt but he has been so bad that it is beyond disappointing. Sadly, i do not think he will rip it up next season either. UTD will be wiser to sell him for 30-60m. Rasford has to start focusing on his game, work ethic, confidence, teamwork. It’s not just goals but the total package and that goes for any player. I’m tired of seeing clips of workouts and tweets saying whatever, it matters what you do on that field for that badge you play for and your country. Stay focused and motivated and don’t drop off.

As far as Kobie Mainoo being in the England squad, don't forget he missed the first few months of the season, so his workload from this past season is way lower than if he would have been healthy from the start. He only had 34 total appearances & 2540 minutes played. Compare that to Bruno, who played in 47 matches & 4195 minutes. Kobie should have plenty in the tank for the Euros. I worry more about guys like Bruno & Garnacho as far as wishing they had more of a break.

I agree with Beth. I would take Jack Grealish, he hasn't played much this season but that is due to a stellar side in Citeh keeping him out. Whereas Rashford, he has played lots but he has had maybe 4 decent games? It is the right decision to omit him.

Rashford's career trajectory is looking very similar to J-lings. I don't expect a reaction. I expect him to still be here next season, still being piped off and held up as a shining example by our owners (INEOS and the Glazers). We aren't a football club anymore. We are a crap marketing team. Chelsea are already looking like they've repaired their team. We will be trying to claiming there is a rebuild going on whilst nothing at all happens.
