One of kaneki's strongest points, isn't his form, it's how effectively adapts because of what he has read. Whether isn't from his opponent or from book, kaneki is able to recreate those attacks and fighting style. Arima himself said that kaneki has extreme memory and learns fighting really fast. Heck, he became assistant special investigator who is often compared to arima as a quinque user within less than 3 years is proof

@@quasogod no I mean kaneki being closer to arima as a fighter makes sense given both are half ghouls. Arima is far stronger and faster than any normal “human” but that’s because he’s essentially a ghoul without the ghoul organs, so he has the far stronger and faster body but not the hunger to eat humans or a kagune. Kaneki is a half ghoul in that he was human but had the ghoul organs put into him, he has someone else’s kagune artificially turning him into a ghoul giving him the advantages of being a ghoul so he is much stronger and faster than a regular human, for example he can’t be stabbed by a regular steel knife. So between arima, kaneki and the regular humans of course kaneki will be better at fighting ghouls and go up ranks faster as an officer. At the end of the day a really skilled human without the super human physical traits is going to really really struggle to keep up with a person with superman physical traits let alone arima. Arima > kaneki > > > > human.

@@quasogod like idk what you are trying to say here, I never used stronger as like the measurement of it because if we mean raw strength? Then like that has very little to do with martial arts… but like having a superior physical body that is stronger, faster and more resilient in every conceivable way to the average person is a huge advantage. If you can react faster, react stronger and be aware of what’s happening faster then you as a fighter will do better than anyone who is not able to do that. Like Toji isn’t a threatening character in JJK because he is a skilled martial artist, sure it helps him in his job but it’s because he has super human speed, strength, reflexes and senses he is the one who can take a bounty against gojo and win. Put a regular humsn against gojo or the disaster curses and they just die instantly. Same idea with kaneki, he has an advantage that sets him apart from anyone else at the CCG

Imagine if they would just had perfected the anime to the manga and not massacre it. Probably would have been more popular amongst people who don't do manga. Needs a reboot to the anime to bring justice to the series.

@@noahtaveggia3225 tldr: anime = storyline is all over the place and doesn't really connect well. in the anime, it's like a time skip with the series. It doesn't connect well with one another. They left out so much materials. At one point if your watching the anime, you see these group going at it with each other and then towards the end you see them suddenly fighting together with no back story on how or why they're fighting together. Also some characters just suddenly appears with no introduction whatsoever towards the end of the anime series when they weren't even in the picture in the earlier seasons.

Well you might have gotten a bit missinformed @Palm Tv I'm not saying your entirely wrong but he can barely feel pain due to the amount of damage he sustained during the 7 days of torture that jason put him through so it's not that he can't feel it at all, taking the anime logic away and getting into the medical side of things he would not feel it at all because the body's nervous system is only protected by your skin and muscles, when your skin and muscles are damaged enough your nerves might sustain damage and in most cases you will stop feeling pain it is also worth to mention that your brain is in charge of your nerves, your brain sends out signals to the area through your nerves causing pain, your brain does this to warn you that you are in danger so removing anime logic he might not be able to feel pain

How come we dont get more MC's with biologic abilities similar to Tokyo Ghoul? It's the vile-ness and grotesque nature of such abilities which I like. Reddish brilliant veins, musculature, flesh, tendons and plate like bone armor seems preety dangerous and interesting. Naturally, strong regenerative capability and ever evolving adaptability can be further "unlocked", there are many cool biologic ability traits I can think of. But instead we get more magic abilities or heroesque, super abilities. Biologic traits as portrayed in TG are much more immersable and believable, not to mention you might feel disgusted and attracted to the idea of such horror.

So maybe u can develop different plants or stuff with high rc cell count. Also, ghouls can also enjoy inorganic stuff that humans use like salt.

In the anime it says he achieved half-kakuja (idk how to spell that) form because he ate ghouls in the part where they storm Cochlea to get Hinami. I would argue the kakuja takes a centipede form due to his torture and Kaneki achieves this form because something in him breaks but the type of cogune was not determined by his bouts of insanity.

@@whokilledshy he never worked for the aogiri tree in the manga. He was known to be a cannibal during his white hair state. Raided the gourmet place to eat every ghoul etc. To get more powerful, but rizes rc-cells were so aggressive that when he wanted to get a kakuja he was completely absorbed by it. So eto and arima decided to save him by killing him over and over again.

Oh it’s about the anime. Mm. Edit: for clarification. In the manga, when kaneki’s hair first turns white he develops two mental states. There’s the human one, where he shows kindness and all that, and there’s the ghoul state, where he takes on a Jason like mentality and becomes cruel. In the anime, it’s only the second ghoul one.

yes it became stronger through eating ghouls but his mental state did have an effect, hence the millipede/centipede look of the evolved kagune.(since one of the torture methods involved said insect)

I just realized why Haise has black and white hair because he is a quinx meaning every thing is balanced so he is not leaning on either side

Kaneki wasn’t a Quinx whilst he was Haise, he was just leader of the Quinx Squad. You have to remember that whilst Kaneki displayed a slightly different personality as Haise, he still had the same body, even though Ishida changed the character design slightly to trick the audience into believing Haise was a completely new character. Haise was still an artificial one-eyed ghoul, which isn’t the same as a Quinx. The reason why Kaneki’s hair was black and white during his time as Haise was simply to show that Kaneki had returned to a more human way of living. That’s also why Haise has the slightly healthier-looking skin tone that Kaneki had before he accepted his ghoul side following the torture.
