There are fewer and fewer artists who actually deserve the stage nowadays. Most rely on their image to carry themselves through a performance. It all rings so empty. This is an example of purity rarely seen or heard anymore. It made my heart race and brought tears of admiration. It is in these performances that the power of real music will not be denied.

Kingfish is an incredible pleasure to listen to. He blends the blues with funk, soul, gospel, etc. effortlessly with sooo much heart. Can't stop playing his new LIVE IN LONDON album! Thanks for posting this great concert footage.

I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. A few years back I saw Kingfish with Buddy Guy and Kenny Wayne Sheppard in Bethel Woods, NY I was the bomb seeing and hearing such outstanding talents! Kingfish Ingram is a beast indeed. I'm contemplating whether to go see him 5/23 at Infinity Hall in Hartford, CT!!!!!!!!

Yeah he's pretty bad. Keeps time well enough and doesn't overshadow anyone else which is good, but no variation, no flair, weak snare hits no rimshots, same tired fill, open hats and nothing else. This could've been the best live performance basically anywhere with a better drummer
