Since long ago, Iran has been a cradle for different folks who managed to save and nurture their bases of cultures alongside the rich culture of their ancient homeland. One symbol of this cultural variety is the vast range of folkloric music and their past heritage. "All My Homeland People" is Rastak's effort to retell these ballads as its second album in 2010. Rastak hopes to play a small role in recreating folk ballads and introducing Persian culture's deep roots and rich past to the world.
Iranian folk music is incredibly diverse, and many different cultures over the centuries have influenced it. In this documentary, we explore different ethnicities and their music. We also interviewed many folk musicians and masters to overview this rich and complex music comprehensively. Iranian folk music is an essential part of the world's musical heritage, and we hope our music will help spread its beauty and richness to a broader audience.
