Great stuff guys ! My Ultra in .177 just won’t group any kind of Slugs, i’ve tried a few different makes, sizes and weights but the best i get is a Golf ball size group at 25 yards😡. I’ll stick to my JSB Heavies. 👍🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Good work. Save up, buy a Manfrotto tripod, a Movo gimbal (swing arm), screw your gun to a Swiss Arca plate, mount gun and plate on Manfrotto and Movo for serious wind and wobble reduction. Or not. Thank you for posting, so impressed I subscribed

I have never seen anyone hold a gun like Lofty before, that is the strangest and most awkward looking grip style imaginable ! I can only assume it's because he favours his left eye but wouldn't it be more ergonomical to use his left hand for the trigger ? I suppose the light trigger action doesn't depend on having a tight grip but it really seems to look like it's unnatural to use your right hand for the trigger when you are holding it up to your left shoulder although it seems to be pretty effective at hitting the target.

Yes it is a strange way of holding his rifle because he has bad sight in his right eye but he does seem to manage just fine.

Yeah my right eye been knackered for about 8 years now so I had to adapt and over come the situation. To be fair it’s quite comfortable 🙈 once you get used to it.

That can be a tricky question. You can buy a full PCP air rifle package which comes with rifle, sliencer, pump and a cheap scope for under £600. The scope will be pretty basic so I would bin that instantly for something which would work with night vision such as a Hawke 3-9x50AO paired with a night vision attachment (PARD NV007) or you can buy a digital scope such as the ZULUS arkenoptics.uk/v8plln which works as a day and night scope. The non-LRF ZULUS is cheaper.

It's bullshit. You probably have no problem with defenseless animals dying for the sake of their meat. They are not dying in agony either - he aims exclusively for headshots, which are either causing instantaneous death or brain/nerve damage that doesn't cause the rat agonizing pain (not saying it doesn't cause any pain either, because I'm pretty sure You'd take that out of context). Rat's population has to be controlled as they are pests that can spread illnesses, damage infrastructure just like animals have to be killed for meat. Next, You compare killing pests to killing humans. Pretty silly thing, nonetheless. Even if we were to compare people killing people - killing on a battlefield shall not be compared to either killing in self defense nor committing an act of murder.
