I've had other BPM baits kzfaq.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!

The mangrove islands are home to a metric bazillion rats in Florida. We used to camp on the islands in Sarasota Bay and we always took BB guns for the rats. At night make lots of noise. There are also rattlesnakes around those islands that eat the rats. I've seen rattlers swimming between the islands. Rat lures actually make sense with so many rats around. I bet a real live one would get eaten quickly.

That snook was Working that reel it was making some gnarly sounds on that drag!!! Years ago I caught a Big Cuda offshore on a tube lure using a Old School Diawa Millionaire and the Cuda smoked my reel !!! The gears inside were shot after battling the Cuda !!!

I've done that same thing. Don't laugh at the rat wakebait. Redfish and snook love them. Not to mention largemouth bass and I've even had a striper eat it.

I racked up several of those rat lurers, working at Bass Pro, and they've caught me the biggest bass I've ever caught. Bass just ANNIHILATED them, to the point of tearing them up. For what it's worth I was walking it. I don't recall what brand though. Very fun bait under the right circumstances.

Hahaha I did a similar thing this morning…. Got three slot snook in a 30 minute window around first light. First one was too easy, first cast landed a 31” on my go to weedless paddle tail setup. Then retied a 8” NLBN mullet. Instantly destroyed. Slightly bigger fish. Still too easy. Switched to a massive offshore/tuna swim bait that looks nothing like anything they eat and they still wanted it. I guess I need to keep trying stupider and stupider lures just for the LOLz.

Lawson so when we get anything new at work I always try them and everyone thinks I'm crazy but I got slammed with them also. Just like when the f13 fishing baits came out I was trying them a good couple weeks before I ever seen anyone do a video on them. I'll let you know soon as we get new stuff so u can look for them. I also have stuff we get that we have not put out at times and hold for weeks if not month
