I would love to see the 'Mercenaries For Me' mod as it both lets you send colonists to be mercenaries but allows you to hire mercenaries, and it goes indepth as the mod description shows. (for some reason YT deleted my first, much more detailed comment I made on this)

I think 'Arrowhead' would make a good name for the armoured car. This is because of how it will most likely be used as a powerful weapon and be used to push through the enemy and that it is fast.

Richard really is built different lmao, taking on a raid on his own even if it was from a bunch of slaves but hey at least they got Roz now. Speaking of which the new vehicle could be called the AA-MT (going star wars on ya) the Asset Acquisition Mountainous Transport, since this is essentially for a merc group/private army they would probably go for something more technical. Though if you want something more like the Riflerunner I would say "The Acquisition" since it once again references the name and kinda sounds like the Inquisition which if you go to one part of the world now one expects and who's to dsy they are going to expect the Acquisition to come in the steamroll them in the name of of the S&R Rifle Company? And one final note Otto is an insane colonist he's got so many passions and a wide array of skills he'd probably be worth having him do other things around the colony to get the most out of them. Could see him and Richard bonding over their kinda similar backgrounds, and they are around the same age.

Jeez I really enjoy this series, more likely because most of my playthroughs are centered around producing and selling arms to everyone. However I might have an idea, that later in the playthrough Scott would decide on making some sort of standardisation of equipment, like colonists would wear same clothes and armor, looking more like organized mercenary force and not like outlanders. This would only bring more prestige to the company as now they look like professionals.

Be careful about expanding yourself too fast : Even though they're occupied by the civil war, the marshal service are unlikely to turn a blind eye to such a big criminal empire forming up (because yes, in the end your gun empire is still criminal). Chances are they might come with an ultimatum about joining them at some point. And on the other side, if you become a large armed force, the rebels will want to bring you to their side in the civil war, since having you remain a mercenary means the marshal could hire you against them. One day, your gun empire is going to be under pressure from both sides if it grows to the point you're planning of, thus, doing so slowly and carefully might be better than aiming for a fast expansion.

A good mod to add for uniforms and guns is the Madness combat merc mod on the workshop, adds some industrial themed armor and nice weapons

For a tank, I would name it the “Boom Boom Bus”.

Names for the armoured car could be "Hostile Takeover", "Aggressive Negotiations", "Cease and Desist" or "The Rule/Rules of Aquisition" Just to keep the naming business themed. So the enemy knows its business and nothing personal.

My suggestion for the armored vehicle to be called "Peacemaker" heavily empathizing with the "Peace" part. Also, it's a great series so far keep it up, man.

The APC has to be named "The Beast" / "Desert Serpent" would just makes sense for the people that are forerunning your coorperation, just into the faces that you dont enjoy trading with. They dont trade, bring the beast!

Hey rat knight. If you're struggling with chemfuel just get the vanilla brewing expanded mod, then research sweat vats and then it allows you to make rotten meat from corpses for chemfuel. Best part it doesn't spoil any moods or relationships

You should start a mushroom farm for the chemfuel or create a hydroponics area and grow food. Since Hydroponics have 230% faster rate of growing. Or do both. And maybe, just maybe, a certain rat-kin (aka Wire-tail) join the group?
