Parece que a KZfaq le está costando procesar el video a 4K. Si en unos minutos no se arregla, lo volveré a subir! It seems that KZfaq is having a hard time rendering the video at 4K. If in a few minutes it is not fixed, I will upload it again!

Even the old games hold well, I see myself playing them again. Not only in terms of visuals, but how they play. They were pretty much ahead of their time.

'Mario 64' and definitely 'Banjo - Kazooie' on the N64 were the ones which were revolutionary in terms of that type of gameplay. 'Ratchet & Clank' on the PS2 kinda took over the recipe and made it a bit more organic. All good games nonetheless!

I love that they listenend to fans about the animations. They really dropped in quality in the ps4 game. Now in Rift Apart, it looks and moves like a pixar movie

@@AXBNBS Yeah thats why I hate the Game because It was the Game that was showing Ratchet and Clank for 5 years. Everybody thought it was a simple cheap kids game while the older games are so much better. Now with Rift Apart they will see how good the Games were really

@@baumloserwald Kinda feel the same way about it, yeah, although I wouldn't sey I hate it. It just felt like a much worse version of the original in terms of story. The way certain events of the original, the characters and the story were handled felt pretty lame in comparison, like it was just a generic kids movie (kinda like the movie itself xD). The gameplay was fine, though.

It looks even better in person (not KZfaq) I just platinumed the game the other day and anyone who claims the graphics aren't that great are full of shit and clearly haven't actually played it.... It's amazing to look at; and even the story and gameplay are great.

Ever since the first game, Insomniac appears to squeeze everything out the hardware with exceptional execution. I remember when the first Ratchet & Clank came out on PS2 and nearly every review critic compared it to a Pixar movie in video game form. When I look at and/or play a R&C game, it never seems like Insomniac is trying to catch up to the hardware, but that the hardware is trying to catch up to Insomniac.

Quizás el salto más pequeño que veo es de PS3 a PS4. Y el salto de PS4 a ps5 es mucho más bestia de lo que me hubiera imaginado, tan grande como el de PS2 a PS3.

La verdad que sí colega, algunos ejemplos a comparar del salto PS2 a PS3 serian: Vice City y San Andreas con GTA 4 y GTA 5, God of War 2 con God of War 3, Killzone 1 con Killzone 2, etc. Tal vez la novena generación (PS5, Xbox Series) sea el salto gráfico que estabamos esperando hace años, podemos mencionar a Black Myth: Wukong o Stalker 2, esta gen. recién esta empezando, no me imagino lo que se vendrá los prox. años. No me lo puedo creer, estoy jugando a R&C Perdidos en el tiempo y pense voy a buscar un Evolution of Ratchet and Clank que no me acuerdo como eran las animaciones y graficos de los de Ps2 a ver como ha ido evolucionando la saga hasta la ultima entrega que acaba de salir y me encuentro con esto. Increíble lo que logró el equipo de Insomniac Games con este nuevo Ratchet y Clank, es de admirar, gráficamente y con una estabilidad en el juego que es única, queda más que felicitarlos, y que los demás estudios aprendan de ellos, excelente trabajo con la comparativa de cada juego.

El mayor salto fue de ps2 a ps3. Cuando te vas acercando a la perfección cada vez es mas difícil mejorar, aun así la mejora de ps5 es también notable

Yo lo jugaría en modo rendimiento con Ray tracing. Tienes 60fps y buenos gráficos, el reescalado es muy bueno. Un amigo lo tiene y lo juega así, dice que apenas hay diferencia al modo calidad. Hay que estar fijándose en el fondo para notar la diferencia

Its crazy to think that a few weeks ago i decided to try the Ps4 Ratchet & Clank game on Ps5 and thought it looked amazing. Got Rift Apart yesterday and instantly it change to damn the Ps4 game looked like ass :)

@@DobleM95 Comentario más ignorante imposible, encima que comparas juegos con estilo realista a uno con estilo cartoon. Pero salvando el estilo artístico, si, se ve mejor que todos esos juego que mencionas, basta con ver la calidad de texturas, iluminación, animaciones, etc. Es un juego que gráficamente esta al nivel de una película de pixar, no porque el juego no tire por un apartado artistico hiper realista lo hace menos.

Ratchet's Rift Apart model looks really good. But I'd also love it if they brought back Ratchet's A Crack In Time model maybe with some slight changes to fit the PS5 graphics.

I have both versions. I remember back in 2004 playing the original Ratchet and Clank on the PS2. Then in 2020 I bought Ratchet and Clank for PS4. This remastered version. Very good game and I've played through it four times already. But then I saw comments that the original Ratchet and Clank was better. I then bought this Ratchet and Clank trilogy for PS3 and dug out my PS3 game console closet. Now I have to say that even though I've only played the PS3 version for a short time, the game is very different from the PS4 game. Even though the levels I've played are the same, they feel different. The PS4 game has better graphics and gameplay, but the PS3 version is definitely a better game.

This just reinforces my belief that the jump from 6th to 7th generation was the last 'BIG WOW' jump. Everything since then has been incremental. Retro is crystalised as Gen1-6.

Contrary to many commentators, it seems to me that between PS3 and PS5 the difference in graphics quality is exclusively quantitative, but not qualitative: more polygons, higher texture resolution, more small details in models, but fundamentally little has changed. It would be interesting to see the same comparison, but if the PS2-PS3 versions were rendered on an emulator with 4K resolution

1. En móvil(por lo menos) no se ve y carga Infinitamente 2. Si se puede ver en KZfaq de ps4 pero a 360p. No se si será algún error de KZfaq o de edición así que esperare a que se arregle

I still think the biggest graphical jump was from ps2 to ps3.I mean in ps2 the polygon amount didn't allow for great models and in ps3 it was much much better also the lighting on models was great for its time.Into the nexus despite its 720p resolution is not too much behind the ps4 game ie.Rift apart is way ahead of the ps4 game tho

Es que cada vez hay menos diferencia gráfica entre generaciones, el salto entre PS5 y PS4 no es igual de grande que el de PS3 y PS4

Siempre he considerado que no ha habido un salto tan grande en gráficos como el que se dio de Play 1 a Play 2 y de Play 2 a Play 3.

@@songokuultrainstinto3790 Si vuelves a leer mi comentario, en ningún momento hablo de que no exista un salto de PS3 a PS4, estoy diciendo que el salto es menor que entre PS2 a PS3, por ejemplo. Y sobre los juegos que tengo… pues, mi amigo, no… no tengo 5 juegos nada más. Jamás juego remasterizados (no me gusta jugar un juego que ya sé de qué va) y, afortunadamente, jamás he comprado un juego malo (mi colección de PS4 rebasa los 60 juegos y la de PS3, el cual conservó aún, es de 30+, así que creo que tengo más o menos un punto de comparación). Siempre he considerado que no ha habido un salto tan grande en gráficos, como el que se dio de Play 1 a Play 2 y de Play 2 a Play 3. asi para no leer junto todo

I steel loveing Ps2 animations and charisma of our heroes. Ps3 Meeh..... Ps4 better graphics but less characters charisma, and Ps5 takes the best of every generations.

@@mrpopo5097 Insomniac could take notes from activision, remaster the original 3 games with care (and not butcher them like they did in 2016) and then just start from ReC 3 onward.

The way how I'm looking at the graphics the ps 2 makes ratchet and clank look like kids and ps3 makes them look like older minders and p4 makes them look like teenagers,now ps5 makes them look like a young adult even you know they haven't grown up yet but the graphics at least makes them seem like they have changed and grown.
