We struggle because the Glazers dismantled the structure of the club. No director of football, no proper coaches, no scouts, no proper medical staff, no stadium improvements and we now rent our training ground. The list goes on and on.

The fact that SJR is being gagged by the Glazers tells you all you need to know about what he COULD say about them. In fact, I'm very annoyed with our UK journalists in this respect: They always go for easy stuff (like hyping-up manager sacking). The dodgy dealings of the Glazers, and the lack of proper due diligence/governance by the UK football authorities and UK Government, should be subject to proper investigative journalism....Louis Theroux might do a good job of this. It is an absolute disgrace that the Glazers have been allowed to buy a UK institution (football clubs like Man Utd are much more than a business per se, the clubs are made by, and founded on, the fans) and allow it to become decrepit whist syphoning off the money that could be used properly. The Glazers should be publicly vilified and ideally jailed for what they have done.

Looking forward to the success of this INEOS project. The rot has been in place for a long time. To heal, it will take time and surgically removing all the cancerous elements. Hope that INEOS will be brutal in their efforts to clean up the house. Too many prima donnas that needed to be humbled. If they need long-term success, the next few years will be a bitter one for the club. We as fans must be prepared to swallow this bitterness before any hope for success. Do remember as we rebuild, the others are growing in strength too.

I don't see how any of this works, there is no money left the Glazers have well and truly screwed over the club, Ratcliffe won't invest in the stadium if he only owns 25% and there isn't any income to buy players as there is so much debt to pay off? Very strange deal.

Actually most clubs are run on debt and most businessmen and women aren't really worried about debt it's just that United's is slightly too high Ratcliffe will be working on the debt just as Qatar would've done so whilst the debt is a killer it really isn't worrying the new owners on the footballing side what really is needed is a complete revamp of the recruitment team so we need to stop overspending and underselling so whilst this may take some time United will be in a better place in the future. PS I admit the deal looks dodgy but ultimately it looks like a complete sale of the club is a probable certainty at some point in the future!

@@kevinduff3584 You’re not wrong and the debt isn’t a concern in terms of Man Utd going bankrupt. The debt repayments were fine when we were finishing top 4 every season gaining european broadcasting and crowd money but our underperformance on the pitch is now becoming a huge issue. It’s significantly impacting our FFP and transfer budget. I don’t see how anyone can fix this without injecting money into the club.

I don't think we will see that many major changes in the short term. The club has no money. 300 million is chicken feed. Nobody wants our spent players for big money. And we are so deep in the shit. It will take a long time to dig out. But we can hope.

300 mil is what is invested towards renovating the stadium. INEOS is bringing in 1.5billion cash for a 25% stake plus an investment of 300 mil towards Old Trafford.

What will be different if the GLAZERS are still around absolutely nothing. Ratcliffe won't be able to do the required repairs the glazers have just left. I have no confidence at all in the people who will ba running the club. Bug players certainly will not want to join the club when so many players already in the team want to leave. Just ask yourselves who is responsible for the mental side of the game. Besides having two sets of people doesn't very often work. I don't think Alex Ferguson is the right person to make decisions in tbis parti ular disaster
