As a PM counselor (certified by DSWD 😊) may medyo napansin lang kami. Ang iniuwi po ninyo is what we call MEI or the Marriage Expectation Inventory na dapat sinasagutan BEFORE the Pre marriage counseling (PMC) at sinasagutan sa office seperately. Dahil sa counseling mismo ito nadidiscuss ng counselor kung ano yung inyong pinagkaiba (andun ang essence ng counseling). At ang mga katanungan po jan eh mostly nadidiscuss mismo sa PMC. Di naman po ninyo kasalanan yun kasi sila nagpauwi nun. And one more thing ang inatendad po ninyo ay hindi counseling ang nangyari kundi pre-marriage orientation. As per new joint memorandum circular malaki pinagkaiba ng PMC sa PMO. At ang kelangan po talaga ng mga would be couple eh PMC. This is not a hate comment po ha. Napansin ko lang po na medyo hindi magandang practice yung napansin ko as a PM counselor. Salamat po and coungratulation po sa inyo. 😊😊

I remember when me and my husband attended marriage counselling we struggle cause of our work sched but then it was all worth it after all because your marrying the person you dream to be with you for the rest of your life. Anyways we had our church wedding and our 3rd together.

We got married 1st sa Civil rite. Kaya nung church wedding may Confession at tawag sa kasal for 3 weeks bago ang actual wedding. Tpos dapat both may baptismal and confirmation certificates. You can submit ur marriage cert para proof na married na kyo sa civil rites.

I admire geloy for his insights about marriage... Marriage is design by God.. pagtitiisan dahil sumumpa kayo sa Diyos and it is sacred. Of course ibang usapan naman yong binubugbog ka na. Yes mag aapply ka ulit and dadaan ka ulit sa seminar if mag church na kayo. May interview din kau sa pari after seminar. 2 seminar, pre cana and nakalimutan ko na ung isa. Also, if magkaiba kayo ng church diocese you have to pay for the churches na madadaanan or ma skip, then you have to be announced 3 times in a month before the date of marriage.

Di niyo na need ng marriage license if ikasal kayo sa church kasi legally married na kayo. You just need to submit your marriage certificate sa church as proof. Pero yung pre-cana, required pa din (depends na lang siguro sa church) kasi may mga church teachings din siya aside sa family planning.

Attend ka ng Pre-Cana Seminar nila tapos yun na. Swak ok na! Kukunin nyo nlang yung Marriage Contract nyo. No need to register na yung contract kasi nakasal na kayo so may Doc na kayo sa NSO :) mas wala ng hassle.pero mas m magastos pa kasi babayaran mo church, sa mga gown, flowers at pang reception hehe.
