Thank you! Yeah at least in this case they definitely tried to hide the filter, but once you know where it is, its not terribly hard

Glad the vid could help, yeah that's a small detail a sales guy would definitely not know about. In terms of power only thing I can think is that with the boots connected properly and pulling air from the filters it pulls cooler air, instead of hot open engine air.

At our shop we have an autel elite Snap on apollo And an outdated porsche piwis None of which could reset the 2020 cayenne. I believe an up to date porsche piwis scanner would be required for the 2020 at least not sure about the 2019

so the one in the video had like 15,000 miles already so I didn't bother paying attention, since ours drains into the big container and not a bucket it's hard to see. but in regards to your car it would be normal to see some shavings or glitter if the motor was brand new or rebuilt, after that you really shouldn't be seeing much unless you have big problems lol

Thats so funny, didnt notice that. Well vw and audi share tons of parts and manufacturing. And i believe vw owns porsche now, but i haven't personally seen vw parts in a porsche. Ive seen a mercedes transmission in an automatic boxster haha

Look at the history of Porsche and how the company was started. He essentially started out with gutted VWs and had an agreement with VW for parts. VW/Audi is in their DNA.

Most specs call for 20-30 ft/lbs. When you've done thousands you start to just go by feel.

I wrote it in the description i beleive, it was 0w20 ESP mobil 1, supplied by the customer from porsche

you'll need a fairly sophisticated or specific scan tool to reset these newer cars unfortunately. we used a PIWIS 3 scan tool

from what I can see the 2019 cayenne can come with smaller v6 with one turbo which would be different, but the twin turbo model would be the same.

Hmm i wish i had a for sure answer. But i dont remember seeing a dipstick tube. You would need a dipstick tube to suck the oil out from the too. I know older models had a tube, but didnt come with a dipstick so people would make there own. I would say no, from what i remember

@@RatedRTV hey man, I found the extract hose. If you look next to the filter, there is a very thin hose with a little cap.

@@RatedRTV i will try to make a short video these days. I was going underneath to do it but it was so complicated. Since I also have a s5 with same engine, I found the same hose as that near the oil filter housing.
