An island that boasts three light houses!! Such great wildlife also - a really nice spot to wild camp, as are all the islands in fairness. I’m rewatching all these videos with you so you’re bringing me back down memory lane and reminding me of the videos I like to make…none of this speaking lark that I challenged myself to do in recent videos. Much prefer these type videos, the next one I make I’d like to not speak. Speaking has brought a lot of fun connecting with others but I like the purity of not speaking and just letting the scenery do the talking!!

I've loved all I've watched so far, I think the last time I binge watched so much was Line of Duty 🤣 Really glad I discovered your channel, despite all of the possibly thousands of kilometres I've walked all over Ireland's hills, you have given a fresh perspective on those I've been on and some yearning to get to those I haven't. Speaking of lighthouses, the most spectacular I've seen was out on Sheep's Head, no high hills there, but wow, what a place, anyway enough waffle, I'm just so passionate about our beautiful high places and wild places, and finding all this gold on KZfaq just makes that feeling stronger. Keep up the great work Miriam, and many thanks for giving all your viewers a virtual presence on your adventures 😀

Line of Duty binge comparison 😂 I haven’t been to Sheeps Head but I’ve a notion of doing some of West Cork on the Brompton this year so I’ll be looking out for that lighthouse! 👍 Like you I get inspired by all this KZfaq content too - I feel all the content creators are inspiring each other in terms of what we’re doing and learning from each other. I just started this as memories for me and was using KZfaq as a repository - not sure what I’m at now but I’m having fun with it anyway! 😂

@@RaimoLehtinen ah it’s hard - I tend to listen to music when I’m out for a stroll or driving and anything that appeals to me I make note of and usually have music in mind before a videoing trip. I’ve just signed up for epidemicsound so I’ve only now started to use non copyright music - but it’s definite effort of going through the music to source things I like! Very slow…🙃

I had such a lovely little visit, it was my first time there and I thoroughly enjoyed it - I borrowed a friends bike as my own had been recently robbed and bike hire was shut due to COVID. What a great place! Loved it - I do like our islands!! That same pub let me store my backpack as I headed off on the bike, very nice of them! Im sure it was a quiet and somber night for you staying there for the night 😊 Great little place, I was so happy and content on that trip 😎

Thanks David - this was my first visit to Rathlin so I wasn’t aware of any angry landowners and thankfully didn’t come across any while there! 😊 The east end of the island where I camped felt totally remote from any houses and I felt very comfy camping there. Loved it 😎 Hope you get to do it!! 🤞
