In case anyone doesn't know: Miku's is the original track by DECO*27 and deliberately did not include any growling. Growling in Ghost Rule is a trend that was added into the song by the fanbase afterwards. So it's not that Miku's growl is a 5/10 bc the tuner didn't do a great job, it's bc the producer (DECO themself) didn't do a growl at all in the first place. (No judgement! Just wanted to leave the info here to avoid any confusion. I often see people wondering why Miku is the only one without a "good" growl and like I said it's actually because in the original there is no growl at all/that wasn't a thing for this song when DECO was writing it).

Yes, but I always thought Miku's scream/belt/whatever you want to call it was too soft originally. She doesn't sound frustrated as she's supposed to. Same with other songs like Love is War. There's little power in it, I just don't think her vocals are well-suited to this kind of song

A lot of these aren’t growls though. Miku, KAITO, Araki, Gakupo, Haku, Lenka don’t growl, they just yell. Haku’s voice is literally a low pitched Miku too /nm

No hate towards the person who made this video, just wanted to put this here so people could be a little informed. The reason why Miku’s growl is so weak is because Miku was NEVER MEANT to growl in Ghost Rule. She was just supposed to scream, it’s only thanks to the amount of covers that added the growl that people now think Miku is also supposed to growl, when that was never intended to be the case. Personal preferences are fine but it’s kinda frustrating to see so many people say “Miku’s growl is so weak” when like…she was never meant to growl in the first place, of course it’s going to be weak, it never existed lol.
