As a certified Greek, I didn't know strapatsada was a breakfast dish for us. I've eaten strapatsada at literally EVERY other hour of the day but morning. Greeks literally just get an iced coffee and cigarettes for breakfast and call it a day.

Most commenters who are actually from Greece seem to say coffee and cigarettes. That sounds about right. But when I studied abroad in Greece, our breakfasts usually consisted of tomato slices, feta cheese, boiled eggs, fruit, and various breads. This is usually what was offered to us whenever we stayed in hotels, both tourist trap and local, but it's also what we would cook whenever we stayed in an apartment, based on what was cheap and easy from the local shops. I really miss Greek feta. It was cheap and could be found in every store, and the servings of it were quite large for us Americans. The stuff you get in the states tastes awful. I miss Greece in general, honestly.

In Wisconsin our school would serve scrambled eggs in the morning, but they would mix in some sort of sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and add a few spices I can’t remember what though. They would serve it with a cornbread muffin, and in public school fashion, milk to wash it down. Solid 7/10
