There's a big misconception about the power Paulo Costa has in his hands. I do believe that he has one punch knockout power, the problem is more that he almost never lands cleanly due to his poor accuracy. Almost all of his significant strikes (in the hands) come from him wailing on people's guard against the fence, he's landing but never cleanly. Look at his fight with Romero, the one clean check hook he landed in the first round damn near put Romero out. But after that, he once again just spammed hooks on Romero against the fence and didn't land another clean strike.

It's sad, the old games did. Unique strikes based on the fighters. Stances were accurate, from Silva to Diaz. The new games have 0 passion, it's just shat out for money.

Yeah ufc game stats are weird like the lowest stat in the game I’ve ever seen is 82 and it was equivalent to 1.5 out of 5 stars so like a 93 in ufc stats is like a 85 in most other games
