DiV, you are a rugged individualist, and creative artist. Although living on the edge of the Outeniqua Forest, through KZfaq, your genius is not hidden away. As a young man, in the mid 50's, in Cape Town, I did the same thing, using parts from MG TC, Hillman, Ausitn, Armstrong Siddley. The Chassis was from Wolsley. My partner was a sheet metal wiz. The rear end is looking good Div, well done. I know that panel as the rear valance, similarly the front is called the front valance. (I see the Americans refer to it as the roll pan). There are many terminology differences I have found, example the radiator core support we refer to as the craddle, bonnet is hood, etc etc). Wow, I didn't think that tail light bezel could look any better, you certainly pulled it off looks awesome. Thank you for sharing. Awaiting for the wizard...Till the next one.

I like the way this has come together. At first I thought the bed sides looked a little strange but the more I look at them the more I like them. They actually follow the contour of the cab sides.

Your tail lights are technically meant to be on the outside as when you have your running lights/parker lights on especially at night it marks out the corners of the vehicle so other cars can judge the width.

Man! She is a beaut! I think your right, it needs some of that blue/green color on the bed to tie it in better. And darkening the rust with the oil is going to make a big difference. Sure wish I could make it over there to ride around in it with you. I think that would be a blast. 👍🏻👍🏻

Maybe that's a Austin Cambridge lens. Plenty repos out there. Maybe same as mini rubber. But a resin pore is more fun. Lol. Rod looking great. Great build. I see these flowers in Spain But mid summer.. think I'd cut some moon discs for the wheels And rust them up. Maybe with a chrome decal in the middle. You could sink a disk in the rear wheels and attach a hub cap to the disc. Good luck Boet. .lekka Man. Lol.

Great changes to the tail lights. Horizontal was a good call I think, and the small protrusion makes a big difference. It’s really looking good all together. I hope you do throw a bit of the “blue” color on the bed to tie it in. 😊👍👍

You could send that backup light lens to "The Craftsman, steady crafting" and he could do a mold and pour some resin lights for you. You both work very much the same way. This way you could get a little more exposure on your page as well.

Looks good to me. On your roll pan I think you could remove some (not all) of the yellow paint and rust it also. It is good to hear your channel with no political commercials. We have been muting them for months.

Bezels look good on the extension, reckon the original bezels would have been OK on the extension as well - reverse lights balance the whole thing, although I'm not sure where your bumper and towbar (you did say it was going to be a shop truck, right?) will go. Thanks Div.

Looking awesome my friend! Just as a suggestion maybe some copper tubing around the reverse lights instead of the chrome. Either way 5 star
