Not so much wolves want to sell either, as soon Liverpool knocked on the door jota made sure the club knew he wanted the move and even started to slack in training to force a move. That’s why he didn’t play towards the end of his time at wolves.

He was a selfless player and understood that Jiménez was the man in charge of scoring. He played for the team and was not afraid of having a secondary role on the team. He was well rewarded by being signed to Liverpool. Traore on the other hand has never been cool with the idea of Jiménez being the top wolf and well, not only is he still playing with Wolves but he’s not even in the starting line up anymore. Traore is a great player but he is very selfish and craves the spotlight.

First season of Raul with Jota was perfect chemistry, in the second with Traore was a bit disconnected at times but very powerful when Adama was focused in the game. This season we need more consistent players to help Raul because this man runs everywhere in the field always trying to help defending, scoring or creating chances for others or even for himself always thinking about the team. What a player, professional and a great human being.

Raul needed a goal and I knew he would score against Everton. It's amazing how he's coming back to his level of playing. Many players don't perform good again after injuries and not so serious injuries like Rauls

The Jota Raul Traore era in Wolves will surely be remembered by fans. Their great performances is the reason why Jota ended up in Liverpool and how Traore ended up at Barcelona for a while. Unfortunate that Jimenez had to sit out due to that injury

Back to few season before, he was an all time 'fox in the box' that had both the "killer" instinct and composure when he gets an opportunity to score goal (he still has those now). But after suffering from the head trauma, he's unfortunately can't be playing that role anymore, instead he looks often to more sacrificing himself dropping at the midfield area trying to give other players especially our wingers to have more clear chances at the final third. Unfortunately, his 'false 9' style of gameplay seems to be quite irrelevant back then, mainly not because of him, but more likely to our wingers being not so prolific/deadly at the opponent's defensive box(especially Adama and Trincao). But now, with the arrival of our Korean bull, I can see them being a sensational duo, banging the PL this season🤩

Such beautiful goals. I would like to rewatch these matches and relive these moments. Raul Jimenez adapted very well in the Premier League and showed his confidence for the sport. Jimenez started and finished plays, great leader and teammate, great penalty kicker, and amazing head scorer as well. He made soccer look too easy and elegant.
