I'm always late to the party, but what an incredible artist as I'm just now discovering Raul. His musical mastery is breathtaking and he is so comfortable sharing his immense talent in front of an enthusiastic audience.

As an old 77yo musician, songwriter, I admire this man. Tones of Al Jarreau, Bill Withers in his voice. His guitar work, his timing, his rhythm and his internal horn section. For one guy to make so much music, is exceptional. Rare to find a multi-channel brain that can mimic flutes, horns and who knows what else. I read he is from NM, near Chimayo. This man is blessed in more ways than one.

He impressed me so that many years back I made it a point to travel a jazz festival in Jacksoville Florida just to see him out of many other famous performers because I was so taken by his talents.
