Shivaji's son Sambhaji had visited south when a special kind of daal preparation was made for him. He liked it very much and that daal preparation was named "Sambhar" after Sambhaji. Meat eaters have no idea of beauty and tastes of veg foods.

Rava means samolina in English this idli was invented in karnataka when there was Rice shortage for during World War II. You get plain rava idli and masala idli which has carrot and coriander and cashunut inside. You get ready to make rava does mix and rava idli (MTR BRAND) in grocery store in India buy it make it at your home in Pakistan.

@@Anime_montar_ Nahin babu, aisa nahin hai. Khaane ke swaad ka maza toh sirf zubaan se liya jaata hai...us mein hazaaron saal ka itihaas nahin dekha jaata. Doosri baat ye hai ke mughalon ke Bharat aane se pehle bhi yahan non veg khaane ka chalan tha...haalaaki uska prachar aur uski pehchaan kshatriya raja maharajaon ne apne apne tareeke se aur apne pradesh ki sanskriti ke hisaab se kiya..jo baad mein aam janata mein prachalit hua. Mudde ki baat ye hai ke "South Indian" khaane ko by default vegetarian maan liya gaya hai, jo ke ghalat dhaarna hai. Ho sakta hai ke 70% ho, magar phir 30% non veg bhi toh hai. South Indian non veg khaano mein Konkani (Goa-Karnataka-Kerala), Malabari (Kerala), Chettinad (Tamil Nadu) aur Andhra Pradesh (visheshkar Hyderabadi) ke khaane shaamil hain.

Moshi Bhai, there are dozens of types of Poori. Made from Wheat Flour (Aatta) or Refined Wheat Flour (Maida) or Mixed Flour (Missi Poori), can be Plain or Stuffed. Bhature are made from Fermented Refined Wheat Flour (Maida). Coconut Chutney is prepared with fresh coconuts, Roasted Chickpeas (Chana Daal), Ginger and Spices (with or without Garlic). This is WHITE. Add Mint and Coriander leaves it's GREEN. Both of them are Tempered (Tadka) with Mustard Seeds, Black Lentils (Urad/Maash ki Daal), Split Chickpeas (Chana Daal), Asafoetida (Hing) and Curry Leaves.

Moshi baiyya , you can try every bit of rava idli or any type of Dosa by dipping first piece in sambaar and eat second piece you can dip Dosa or idlie in chutney and eat.if you get three variety chutneys , then every piece of Dosa or idlie dipping chutney one by one.Then you can enjoy multi taste of south Indian tiffin.you can see more than 40 varities of Dosa and minimum 5 varieties of chutnys and minimum 3 varities of sambaar.arachhu vitta kuzhambu, vethha kuzhambu, more kuzhambu and diluted one Rasam is appetizer.Rasam has also have various varities.

Khaana milta hai wahan bhi,thori ados pados ki knowledge rakhni chayiae.....theek hai India jitni diversity nahi but it doesn't mean that they don't have good food...yeah they prefer non vegetarian food more....no need to spread negativity it's not our culture....try to spread love if u can.🙏🇮🇳

Think you had SAAGU (veg stew) with Poori not sambhar. Long back, owner of this hotel invented RAVA IDLI. In chutney... Thicker one msut be mint leaves included and other one pure coconut chutney

Not only MTR and vidyarthi bhavan there's Anna kuteera in Banashankari you must try. Thaja thindi is the best for the price you can be offered. Lastly every street food is worth to taste with hygyenic at economically low price.

You should have tried Bharjari Oota at Upahara Darshini. It is a heaven. Take some Indian with you for this food to understand how to eat each item. You will have over 30 different items. One more recommendation is Sathvam Sadashiva Nagara or JP Nagara. This is another level.

Bhai aap hafte mein ek do video banaoge toh kaisa chalega. Atleast 10 videos aap bana sakte ho. Also try South Kitchen near NR colony bus stop, Basavanagudi. Try their Navane (foxtail millet) Bisibele bhaath, Upittu, and Khara Bhaath. Really awesome taste you won't get anywhere in Bangalore.

Are Bhai aap jaane ke pehle Google karke jaana. MTR is an iconic place and you make a mess of your food. You order sweet first, then in rava idly pour ghee and eat with aloo sagu - sambar nahi hai and chutney. Again masala dosa me ghee daalkar chutney aur sambar ke saath khaate hai. Last me filter coffee peethe hai. Sabkuch ulta karte hai. Kisi se poochna or Google.

Moshi ji, better take local youtuber or vlogger as guide along with you too better understand the local cuisine,they served you melted ghee with suji idli here they never serve oil this place is famous for ghee idli's and butter dosas and podi powder is basically roasted dal dry chutney again they add melted ghee and eat with thick dosa (uttapam) Google for pronounciation idlis,i saw you're not touching ghee at all which they served you along with masala dosa.🙏🌹
