There's a couple I party with and they're in their 40's! They even have a compound in Utah where they throw forest raves. The older ravers are the coolest ones, they usually come most prepared and always the most fun to hang with because they don't care what anyone else thinks and dance like no one's watching!

In my years going to raves, I can say without a doubt most these people are just assholes deep down and try too hard to act cool. It’s about being happy or not. Just doing a thing that others are doing to act like your cooler than everyone else when you’re really not
