Yessir! Always appreciate the informative and useful Raven content man! I've been trying to implement B44 more as a wall combo ender but have using BT D4 which hits if they try to roll but BT f4 looks to be a wayyyyyyy better option haha. 😅 I can't say goodbye to BT D4 despite is launch punishable frames in this game. Keep up the great content man, 10K subs is on the horizon for you!

I've been questioning oki options for Raven (I usually just do d3 but that whiffs on techrolls) and no guide out there covers it as well as yours. This also goes for the other guides and I think I've been spoiled by how in-depth your guides are for learning Raven that when I wanted to learn other characters, I have a hard time since there is no guide that is as in-depth on other characters as yours is. Soulzone from crouch dash was such a helpful tip. So much of the time my opponent will just freeze up and either get hit or because they freeze up, be forced to block whatever SZ move I use

I started with Lee as my main in T8 but after watching your videos made me switch to Raven lol uf4 is one of my favorite moves to use against players who love to duck but I just finish the string, didn't think to use the first hit for oki. That's gonna be a nice addition to my tool kit

Haze seems to be using a very different Oki set up at the wall. He would do the spike into "safe" slide or spike into wall splat mix up. very effective.

13:21 I’m a noob in Tekken, but it’s not a bug, it’s an untechable in my game. Usually it’s landing an attack on the same frame that person hits the ground. I don’t know if it’s the same in Tekken though, but if it takes even 1 frame to do anything like crouch, jump, block, etc then there’s nothing they can do about it, it’s just guaranteed. It’s most likely having to turn around that’s getting hit. It takes frames to turn around and between turning around and being able to block the move hits.

Quick question, if they block the soulzone slide on wakeup consistently is there another option to deal with this. Being minus 9 in someones face basically ends your turn on wakeup but i didint see any ither way to deal with this. Loving the content! Looking forward to more!

Thanks alot for your effort! I don't want to be negative in anyway, but as a beginner its a bit hard for me to follow. The move list on the left is pretty rough to follow, is it possible to have it in the middle of the screen? If not i understand and thanks again for your effort in the videos!

@imortalXsoul 14:00 the reason it can’t be blocked is because the opponent is in FUFA recovery - when they do a backwards recovery it extends the amount of time their back is facing towards you (since they turn around while they stand up) and you can’t block while your back is turned. This is the same reason that Dragunov used to be able to launch you if you backrolled after his 1+2 grab. A POSSIBLE way to block is to directly hold down-back (or hold up and swap to down-back), since that recovers a bit quicker and doesn’t build as much space (which might cause the SZ4 to be more minus on block also) - although that also turns the back for a bit, so it may still be not enough time to block. This also all applies to FDFT recovery, which has the same back-facing recovery animation.

I played him online got him to garyu but compared to the other characters like jin that can pretty much do any and everything and be safe raven lacks everything his back turn is a complete joke i wish they give him back his haze instead of soul zone that opponents can just poke you outta it felt like harada didn't like him cause he buff paul who didn't need the buff even steve got buff beside making aqua spider easier that's it that's all they did with him.
