Today on the show, Faust talks about Raven from the Teen Titans new team, which is going to debut in Raven Daughter of Darkness #7! The team consists of Kid Devil, Black Alice, Traci 13, Klarion The Witch Boy, and Zachary Zatara, and will be written by Marv Wolfman, one of the guys behind the original Night Force team, and the 1980s New Teen Titans.

"Raven is a fictional superheroine appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in a special insert in DC Comics Presents #26 (October 1980), and was created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez. The daughter of a demon father (Trigon) and human mother (Arella), Raven is an empath who can teleport and control her "soul-self", which can fight physically, as well as act as Raven's eyes and ears away from her physical body. "Night Force is the name of three comic book series published by American company DC Comics. The main character of all three series is Baron Winters, a sorcerer who would assemble a team of chosen individuals to fight supernatural threats. The Baron himself did not participate in the missions and would manipulate, sometimes unethically, others to do so for him. This was because, for reasons not revealed, he could not leave Wintersgate Manor, the labyrinthine mansion in Washington, D.C. where he lived. So in other words Ravens NightForce is a team that consist of: The emo sister of Red riding Hood A boy who looks a lot like the devil A curious witch-boy who will get one everyone’s nerves Raven 2.0 (the mature version) An angry little girl who needs a hug A kid who everyone thinks is gay

was worried when raven was taken off the teen titans roster that we wouldn't be seeing her for a long time. glad to see she's getting her own new team. Was not a fan of how the teen titans writer was handling her and i'm hoping whoever writes this new book can do better.

I at one point thought up a team of lesser known DC heroes with Rose Wilson, Red Devil, Zach Zatara, Bunker, Bombshell, Ridge, Aura, Sapphire, Faith, Solstice, Obsidian, and Frostbite.

I have so much to say about this team and it’s all good things! So is this like Justice League Dark 2.0? Jk! So with Raven probably going to be in charge of this team will be pretty interesting. I have always thought she would have been a better character to separate from the Titans and move to the Justice League for a while instead of Cyborg, Black Alice I just love and haven’t seen her for a long time (as a matter of fact I haven’t seen any of these characters except Raven in a long time), Traci 13 is incredibly underrated but she might be on Young Justice Season 3. I’m pretty sure right now she is dating Steel’s daughter but I prefer her with Blue Beetle but that’s not important. Klarion the Witch Boy is an interesting pick, I don’t think he has been on any Superhero team before but I might be wrong. With Zachary and Red Devil I always got more of a Booster Gold and Blue Beetle vibe from them and that’s what I hope they do with these characters but just them being on a team together is enough. I am so excited about this and I hope you will be telling us your thoughts on it Faust. This team has huge potential to be big let’s see how they do. It looks really positive to me!

Yeah same with Black Alice I haven't seen her in a long time I have some of ehr N52 Secert Six stories and all her appearances in BoP but aside form that she doesn't get much love. Glad to see her get another chance to shine.

Technically Klarion appeared on a possible future version of the justice league for like one issue. Probably doesn't count though

That is literally why hes such a good villain. Hes just chaos at his own will. I love what they have done with the character in young justice. It also explains his powers better than a secret witch city underground.

I like Raven being the leader of the group... she’s pretty tough and right, so she’ll do a good job. I never liked Black Alice, but I’ll give her another chance with this new Night Force. I still hope to see June Moone/Enchantress in her own comic. They could make a horror-thriller comic, with dark magic and June suffering for having the witch inside her

YES YES YES! Awesome! I could literally die of joy! Raven leaving the Titans and having her own team?! YES FUCKING PLEASE T_T Not to mention Zackery is there??! And freaking Klarion! I'm smiling ear to ear right now. I've always wanted Raven to leave the Titans and have her own adventure and or team. Just to see her grow like Cyborg entering the Justice League, Robin becoming Nightwing and going solo etc. So this... Gives me hope. I've been wishing to see more of Raven, now I can die happy. I've been saying FOR YEARS that we need a magical team of teens, a Jr justice league dark. It's finally happening omg and I'm so happy to see traci again. After the hot mess that was superwoman ended I was scared we wouldn't see traci and the 2 steels for a while. Nat is going to titans and now traci joins ravens new team ah I'm so excited

I want a magic team of John Constantine, Zatanna, and Jason Blood and Klarion is more or less their adopted child they all coparent. Klarion is this little eight year old and Teekel is a Cait Sith (Scottish faerie cat) and he's just this cute wholesome little sweetie who is always wandering off, and he loves Etrigan and asks him to recite Dr. Suess. Like in the opening issue Klarion goes to hell because he's heard Etrigan talk about it and wants to know what it looks like and the three adults are freaking out trying to find him. However Klarion has no fear of any of the demons and just ends up hanging out and playing poker with these three pretty chill demons until the team catch up with him.

Faust can you do a video on my favorite Titans (i.e. the one with Risk, Prysm, Fringe, Night Shade, Vox, etc.)? I'm only asking bc you said you have every Teen Titan/Titans book. It would mean the world bc no one talks about them and when they do they call it terrible but they were what got me interested in the franchise. Anyway, Love ya and your videos.

Gold Reaper No we don't need more of that than we already have. Both were straight before and it makes no sense to make characters gay when they were previously straight..

Julian Thuesdee They're teenagers and, as such, they don't really know themselves inside and out yet. It's very possible that are either gay or bi and simply haven't explored that side of their selves yet. Not to mention the fact that making them a couple would push them in some sort of spotlight without destroying them as characters. Like Faust said, we haven't really seen the two since pre-new 52, so what have they been doing in the intervening time? Besides, DC definitely needs more LGBTQIAPDK+ representation and this would be a decent start.

Gold Reaper I’m not fond of that idea, mainly because Eddie and Rose had a thing for each other and it’s the sweetest thing I’ve seen in a while. The other is because they only seemed be just friends.
