Hey folks, here I am again with a new video. here I painted Maa Saraswati, ( the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, flowing water, abundance and wealth, art, speech, wisdom, and learning.) She is one of the Tridevi, along with the goddesses Lakshmi and Parvati. Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, art, and wisdom. She is the embodiment of learning and to pay obeisance to her is considered paramount before embarking on any venture, auspicious or otherwise. Saraswati appears both as a reference to a river and a deity in the Vedas. Her four hands are symbolic: the pustaka (book) signifies knowledge, the mala (beads) represents the power of meditation, and the veena (instrument) stands for creative ability. In some images, she is also shown holding a pot of water representing purity. Her choice of vahan is either a peacock or a swan and she is always depicted near a flowing river. I've used KRITA for this painting. Originally this painting was from Raja Ravi Varma " SARASWATI " (1890). He was also known as Father of the modern Indian art. I hope you guys love it.
