18:40 thanks for the shout boys. I’m 100% with you, Paul. Doesn’t make one bit of sense. Ravnica is about 2-color guilds and you don’t ever need a lantern in a well constructed deck running 2 colors. Seems like a flavor fail there

They put shocklands in the "mana slot" with the guild gates to reduce their drop rate. All 10 shocks are in the set, but their drop rate is halved, so you still only get 3-4 per box.

I think you put the 3 packs from the 4th box on top of the 3 packs from the 3rd box and then opened the overgrown tomb in the bottom 3 which were from the 3rd box making that 6 shocks in one box.

Really like the anime Savra art. Wasn't going to get any of this, but that card might convince me. Or I'll just get it separately. Don't like what it does but it looks nice

I love love love Ravnica, but with Rav Allegiance and Guilds still not that far out of print from a few years ago it just seems like over saturation of the same hits. Don’t get me wrong I’d love a serialized shock, and the retros are gorgeous too. Just odd they went with Ravnica so soon.

Ravnica is one of the best planes in Magic. Knowing this is a remastered box I'd jump on it of course but not for the prices they are going for. If this was a new set and I'm talking like their next ones then yes also onsidering shocklands are the only worthwhile cards in this a pass for me. They should've looked into a way to spice up these remasters

It's not a secret rare, The "Land" slot is the first card you open and there's a 9% chance of Shock Land or Chromatic Lantern. So 3-4 per draft box.

As a brand new mtg player with only a starter kit. Would buying this give me a good chance of building a standard deck that's actually competitive? If u have to give a rating from 1-10, where 10 is amazing change at competitive deck. What would u give it?

Ravnica Remastered is not a standard legal set, so no, don’t buy this to play standard. You can look up competitive standard deck lists easily in google, find one that you like - you could also check KZfaq for play videos of that deck to see if it suits you before buying any cards. From there I’d recommend you just buy the singles you need to play the deck. If you still have the itch to crack some packs, check out whatsinstandard.com for a list of the current legal sets!

Price point and set depth just don't seem to line up. Am hoping this set isn't financially devastating for stores. Haven't preordered any myself - cheaper shocklands as singles is nice, sure but I can't see where the fun in opening will be with this pool of potential hits.
