Ingredients:
#Ghee - 3 spns
#Cashew nuts - 10
#Raisins - 10
#Sooji / bombay rava - 2 cups
#Sugar - 1.5 cup
#Cardamom powder - 1/2 spn
#Milk - 1/2 cup
Procedure:
1) Take a pan and heat to medium hot and add Ghee-2 spns. Heat till Ghee becomes liquid and add Cashew nuts-10, Raisins-10. Roast on medium to low flame. Fry till raisins pops up and keep aside.
2) Take a pan and heat to medium hot and add Sooji/bombay rava-2 cups. Roast on medium to low flame for 5-8 mins. You will get nice aroma. Transfer to a bowl and allow to cool down.
3) Take Sugar-1.5 cup into a mixie jar and grind to fine powder.
4) Into a mixing bowl add the roasted sooji and add Ghee-1 tbspn. Add Cardamom powder-1/2 spn, powdered sugar and mix well. Break sugar lumps. Add Milk-1/2 cup and mix well. Mix till you can form a laddu. If needed add milk. Add roasted dry fruits and mix every thing well. Take handful of mixture and make laddus
Tips:
- Roast Rava/suji on low flame. When you get nice aroma from Suji, turn off flame and transfer to a bowl and let it cool for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Here I took - for 2 cups suji, 1.5 cup powdered sugar. If you are not eating too much sweet, add 1 cup of powdered sugar.
- Add milk slowly. Do not pour at once. While making laddu's if the mixture becomes dry, pour 2 to 3 spoons of warm milk and start making laddu's. You will get nice round shape.
- Store in airtight container. You can store laddu's for 3 to 4 days.
