Great video. I have a Leopard 85 and a Laser 130. Still great work horses. They are asked to do too much and are not cared for enough, but they never let me down.

Same Laser 110 best tractor I've ever seen to buck rake silage. they would climb the wall of a house. I recall a Farmers Journal article of a guy in Monaghan/Meath somewhere up that side, he had a Titan190 reverse drive on a buckrake pushing up silage from a self-propelled. Anyone else recall seeing that ?

Well done another great video. I have a few SAME’s think they are a very underrated tractor brand. Good power and light on diesel. Have both air cooled and water cooled. Reliable. Horsepower

I knew a small silage contractor in the 80s who had all types of tractors and my neighbor worked driving for him and he loved the one same tractor that they had. He said it was a beast to pull and never gave trouble.

@@AgrimotiveFarmMachinerymy boss bought a Same Saturno, i always recall back in the day pulling a large load of hay bales up a hill just out of town effortlessly, the other tractors couldn’t hold a candle to it for pulling stuff, i have no idea how many hp it had.
@AgrimotiveFarmMachinery10 күн бұрын
@TheGrimReaper1 Saturno was about 80 HP but they pulled like they had a lot more. Thanks for your comment 👍

The Clarkson Lambo is a Same is a Deutz Fahr Agrotron. That model is most likely made in Lauingen Germany. On Clarkson's Lambo even the warranty sticker is the same as on Deutz Fahr Agrotrons of that time.

Another really interesting video, so thanks for taking the time to put it together. I have limited knowledge of SAME but I do know where there’s a Leopard in brambles, so I might give it the once over. A rare thing in Worcestershire.

I drove an antares 130 in '01 ,it was '96 and hadnt been cared for too well,finding gears was tricky, and the gear sticks were similar to paper straws -not so functional!!. Had the electronic throttle which i liked . The hitch could work its way loose sometimes, very easy on fuel also . Enjoyable tractor to drive ..... Great video Alan, keep them coming !!👍👍 Niall

I worked for a same dealership that sold several other brands and i would have to say their cabins were very nice but they were very expensive like a fendt and they had lots of major mechanical blow ups and stacks and stacks of oil leaks so maybe they just don't like Australian conditions

You for got about same tractors in the 70s that where sold through bamlett. And there base was at Thirsk in Yorkshire.. and burgess sold them what about the same sertrno 80. And the buffalo. And the small one 60 hp lots of farmers had them models in.the 70s.

Minitauro,leone,saturno.Four wheel drive was still a bit of a novelty in the 70's,great tractor with a push off buck rake on the silage pit!! The air cooled engine didn't seem popular,by which time db,mf and Ford had got their act together,not forgetting deere making big inroads into the UK.👍🚜👍

I drove a same laser 110 and 150 for a contractor in the 90s and liked driving them and they were reliable but he bought an Antares 130 which I didn’t like and it gave enough trouble and also he had a Titan 190 which was also very troublesome .

I grow up one a farm in Denmark where the local contractor ran Same and Lamborghini tractors. I especially remember the Lamborghini 1506 which had a cool design and was a big tractor in the 80ties. They also ran some older around 100hp Lamborghini's that were air-cooled, but later Lamborghini's use liquid cooling. The tractors were designed for AWD and did especially well on hilly terain.

There were quite a few of the animal name models of SAME around in Ireland in the late 70s. They and Deutz seemed to get less popular from the 80s onward with the growth of Deere and Fendt. Worked for a short while in Treviglio in the late 80s (pronounced tra-veal-yo from memory) where they are manufactured.
