Greater corner speed. That's how Johnny O'mara caught passed and BEAT 500cc World Champion David Thorpe at the MX des Nations years ago. FYI, Antonio Cairoli, 7 x World Champion trains on 2T and then races the 350F against 450Fs and STILL WINS. 4T bikes make you lazy and slow and dependent on the machine more than yourself.

vertti syrjälä in europe it's normal to pass from 125 to 250f, someone jump directly on 250f but against a kid that worked hard on a 125 there is no doubt on who's faster.

damn i wish i could ride like that! Im new to MX, and made the stupid mistake of starting on a CRF 450, which ended up throwing me off pretty hard.. Now sold that and got a 2006 KX 125, but now not very confident on it, due to my hard fall on the CRF.. I have a huge problem with trusting the tyres to grip when i corner! (i ride a road bike as a main vehicle, and that sucks in the wet), so naturally, im having a hard time trusting my tyres to grip in mud while cornering with speed :( But thanks for vids like these... Showing me that cornering can be taken at higher speeds.. it really helps me...

I used to race a 2001 cr125 and then moved to a yz250 then eventually a crf450r which I race now..... I noticed on the 2 strokes especially the 125's the like it on the pipe in the corners and let the back tire get loose searching for traction.... 4strokes hate that because whenever you give it ANY gas it automatically hooks up..... I love the 450 but again I miss my 2 strokes

how comes, on the video, he approaches the jump and lets off the throttle, and his bike remains a good level in air (front wheel slightly higher than the rear).. But i have an issue on my KX 125, that i find myself nose diving mid air, like ALL THE TIME, EVERY JUMP... I let off the throttle just as im ready to leave the lip of the jump.. and have to gas the shit out of it to pull myself level for landing (im also right over the rear of the bike)...
