Just watched the 2008 dinner with John McCain. That was tremendous....and no I didn't vote for him. So many Republicans called Obama 'arrogant'. Whatever. These are times of which we have no recent memory. All the best for us all.

It's the Al Smith Dinner, a fundraiser that raises money for Catholic charities for children in New York. It was named after Al Smith, a 4 time New York governor and first Roman Catholic elected as a presidential candidate. It's intended to be a humor filled night of current presidential candidates while also showing, due to Al Smith, how far our country has come. The fact the first democrat black man running for President, is speaking at a fundraiser for Christian charities named after a fellow ground breaking man, is quite special really. But that is the intent of the dinner, in full. So now, everyone is allowed their political opinion, but nobody is allowed to be ignorant to it's purpose. Now if only politically fueled folks with an axe to grind could just calm their tits and take a fucking joke. Too much to ask for, probably.

I said it on Ronmeys' video, it's nice to see that both he and obama can come together and put all aside and do this. In the end, we may disagree on issues, but we are countrymen as well.

It's called, "the truth." A lot of people are trying to cut back on it, but you can always recognize it when it's in your face. A lot of times it's not popular, but it always needs to be said.

"and seemed like a guy you could hang around with and not worry that he was going to make mean jokes about you when you left the table to go to the bathroom." Funny,I got the exact opposite impression from Obama's speech.

The Obama family is a class act. I just finished watching a previous video of Michelle on Jay Leno. These are the type of folk that you would love to have over for supper or a day out on the porch chatting and drinking ice tea or lemonade. Shooting hoops or digging in the garden. Real people. They are humble and diplomatic and show grace under fire. We could all learn a lot from their carrying for the average person.

I'm from Sydney. I heard Romney(spelling could be incorrect) speak for the first time in the second debate. I thought he spoke very well. Seeing that America's economy is so bad at present and there are so many poor people, you'll have change big time otherwise America will look like India. No money.
I don't need to google it. I've heard it, and I agree.

Abortion is restricted to under 23 weeks in most states. At this point the fetus is alive, yes, but not at all developed. The only way to get an abortion in the late term is if two doctors agree that the mother's life is in danger should the birth happen. The point is, abortion HAS to be legal, because childbirth can be a danger to the mother's life. And if an unborn child is diagnosed with a crippling disorder, I would rather put it down than force a life of pain.

If the USA was never armed it propably would had never existed. And if they did ban guns before Pearl Harbor attack, the Japanese would had invaded the west coast as well. Our 2nd amendment is what stopped the Japanese,that is what the Japanese admiral has said after the war.He said doing that is "suicide" because every American is armed, it's impossible to take over America.That's what he said. Baring a fire arm is also a RIGHT and a RIGHT to protect yourself from enemies foreign and domestic.

You're also not accounting for superpac's, and trust me most of the military is conservative, just because more money is given just means the people who supported obama gave more money, not that he had more supporters. That's just stupid.

It's not how many donate, it how many support who. Almost 70% of the armed forces supports Mitt Romney for President. Clearly a large majority of the military says that Romney has it right.

Romney was a lot funnier--totally deadpan. He's also a better speaker and doesn't stutter much. That's probably the result of not smoking pot all day long early in life.
@StarsShadow11 жыл бұрын
That was pretty moronic of Nirotix to say, but the sentiment is shared by many. Not that Americans, or Republicans specifically, are stupid but that we'd like to see Obama continue instead of Mitt Romney. The US is a world leader, and with today's global economy, we need you guys strong again and to continue being smart about your policies and decisions in general. Your country has a vast and powerful influence, especially here at home in North America. So of course the world is watching closely

Our President, and yes he is pretty awesome! An optimist, a do gooder and a realist too. Carrying for the average person? What does that mean? They are carrying the burden of leading America by drinking iced tea? If you saw Romney drinking tea you would complain about his rich roots and the horse that he owns. If Obama drinks tea, it shows that he is down to earth?

I take it english is not your first language, or you don't have a high school education. 1. He promised to end the Afghanistan war, but we are still fighting it. 2. He promised he would close Guantanamo bay, but its still open. 3. He promised a better economy, but we are still waiting. 4. He promised to bring down the debt, but he has increased it by over 4 trillion. And I can keep going on if you want. Idk about you, but if someone continuously lies to me, I don't tend to believe them.
