I've been stressed for over 10 days because I didn't understand anything about the mirror and how ray diagrams can be used, it killed me and I was unable to sleep. After seeing this video...everything just came clear and so simple. Thank you so much

thank you for clarifying and explaining the steps properly!! it took me over 2 hours of redoing the same 4 questions and getting them continuously wrong for me to come here and i could actually do one in a matter of minutes. all my teacher did was assign us online tasks that didnt even bother explaining any of the process and only the boundaries (parallel -> focal, c -> c, focal -> parallel)!!

I understood it now much better! My class will be having a major test tomorrow and I heard that literally all of our subjects contain essay types of questions. Tomorrow, our first test is science and I was worried on how I'll even answer those essay questions when I sometimes cannot even understand this certain topic of doing ray diagram. Thankfully, this video helped me understand better than before and hopefully, it can help me with the essay questions without letting my efforts today be in vain :)

So, to test these principles regarding the convex mirror, I've drawn a line of incidence toward the focal point (from the top of a tall element fairly close to the mirror) and have had it reflect off the mirror surface in a direction parallel with the principal axis. But when I draw a line from C through this reflection point to actually check whether the angle of incidence relative to this surface normal equals the angle between the angle of reflection and the normal, I can clearly tell even by eye that they're not equal. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, SEND HELP.

The light also continues to wrap around and connect back to the middle, which lights up the fixed bubbles (stars) above. The solar sunlight wraps all the way around to the opposite side of the central celestial sphere, creating a small dark funnel the width of the solar sun. When the moon, which is an old crystalized plasma sun mold, passes over that dark funnel, it's a 'lunar eclipse'.

Can you make another video, where from the 6 minute mark to the end of your video, your horizontal like is a mirror facing up (so a flat mirror) and the image is the SUN (tip of your arrow). How would that reflect off of the flat mirror and onto the convex mirror. And another example of the convex mirror rotated on top of the flat line (rotated 90 degrees left) Please make that video.

Simple. You'r doing the same thing. 1) Start at the top of the image, draw a straight line until it hits the curve of the mirror. 2) Now, the ray will reflect off the mirror and draw this reflected ray back through the focal point. 3) The second ray will hit the middle of the curve known as "the Pole" and will reflect off, parallel to the first ray through the focal point. You'll notice that if this was extended "behind or the mirror" or the virtual part, the lines will go off infinitely, and won't create an image visible. Rather: "an Image at Infinity".
